Integrative medicine focuses on the whole person and combines the use of conventional medicine, complementary therapies, and behavior change to optimize health. This call examines the use of complementary therapies for epilepsy, what evidence we have to support their safety and effectiveness, possible risks to be aware of, and how to critically evaluate such therapies.
