Three weeks ago I was new to slingshots. Then I saw your slingshots and ordered the Scout and the Hammer along with two small Dankung steel ones. Arrows and inserts to make takedown arrows came this week along with a picatinny light for the Hammer. Glad you made this video. A real wealth of knowledge. Thousands of years from now if the internet is still around they will be able to look back at your videos like looking at the Egyptians building the pyramids
I appreciate your thoroughness. It helped me jurassically to understand all aspects of this firing arm. Thank you for your time thank you for your product.
i recently bought a torque from simpleshot i live in the uk and it was with me in less than 2 weeks, also if you didnt know folks they have started a daily deals thats were i ordered the torque at a nice knock down price, top company and service in my humble opinion :)
Nice thorough video. Wish I hadn't had to work so hard finding it after spending $100. Well, at least now I have a measure of confidence assembling and training with my purchase.
Mark, we included a link to it (and QR code) with your purchase. We're sorry to hear that it was hard to find! Team discussion this morning is how to make the links more visible! Glad the video helped. Very sorry it was hard to find.
I been shooting the Ocularis. I got the Hammer today in the mail, and man it's a great shooting slingshot, very comfortable, which I wasn't sure of because shoot the Ocularis with the wrap around grip.
Someone, I can't remember who, has posted some training tricks. one of these is to put a long plastic drinking straw on the sighting area of the forks. Aiming through the straw demands that the launcher be square, ie, parallel to your body, and straight right and left; no cant in any direction. if the Slingshot isn't square, you can't see through the straw. it is working for me.
I was watching one of Joerg's video's and he was saying whisker biscuits really wear out quickly. How many shots are people getting with them before needing to replace. Keep up the good work. I love my Scout!!!
Great video...but what I'm missing is the specs as far as FPS are concerned...also maybe a quick explanation as far as which rubber bands are more powwrfull and why?
It is definitely available. We were sold out recently but we’re restocked! And we absolutely recommend using the wrist brace with accessories! The rail is independent of the brace!
SimpleShot since I asked that question I've visited your website. But I still have a couple questions,,, Do you have stronger bands available? I didn't notice the fishing reel/rod attachment? Can you shoot the fishing darts? What about using double flat bands? Can I get a custom setup from you?
We definitely recommend against this mindset, actually. You will be shocked at the power you get even from stock bands when they are tuned in. This is the point you should focus on for best performance. Don't mistake draw weight for down-range velocity. Tuning is where you'll get your velocity. Match your bands to your ammo. If you are overbanded, you'll see shortened band life, poor accuracy and minimal velocity gains! All that said, our most powerful bands are the 1/2" steel option here: simple-shot.com/accessories/2s1000xx/slingshot-flatband-bandsets?ref=simpleshot But again, unless you are shooting 1/2" steel, don't do it! 👊
I think you can, but do it after you've installed them and are satisfied with your setup. Then just trim the excess from the front of the slingshot, keeping a bit uncut. Edit: As for should you; it's down to you. If you feel that it's the sweet spot for you, then knock yourself out. I'm not sure if there is a tradeoff between drawing back harder and any shortening of the lifespan of the bands by doing so.
@@simpleshot So you could shoot them fine and not hit you frame. They just might curve when you shoot them. So if there is nothing in front of you that should not get hit its fine to shoot them. thx
I haven't received my deadringer slingshot I ordered on March 10, ( I live in Ontario), is it normal to take this long, and if I don't receive it, who should I contact?
I don't understand, if you want good sales, why don't you have all the languages unlocked for translation, I can't find Croatian translation anywhere on any UA-cam channel that has anything to do with the sling
Thanks Mark for noticing that this description is outdated. This video is 4 days shy of two years old. All our manuals are now digital so that we can update them regularly. We appreciate feedback, so we can adjust manuals accordingly. We updated our manuals regularly so we post them on our site. The most recent Hammer manual can now be found here: simple-shot.com/hammer-manual
Quit calling these wrist rockets ..Slingshots!! Evidently your knowledge and history of slingshots has not been brought to your attention... read the book .
USA people with their " sye"-multaneously instead of SIM-ultaneously and "pra"-cess instead of PRO-cess and I am already getting tired of a product which I get really interested in and then it being out of stock Good business lesson @ once a customer goes elsewhere you've lost that customer plus the word of mouth dissatisfaction passed on If you are going run a website keep it updated without 404 dead links and most importantly make sure you have EVERYTHING IN STOCK !! Disappointed !
Im sure its fine but I dont care for the compound design just on principal And the fact that you use this design for the heaviest application seems counter intuitive You could secure that whisker biscuit with para cord all this shit seems unnecessary
The design is to allow a platform of handles and heads (all interchangeable) and it means a big bulky hammer grip can break down into smaller parts! P.S. Please don't attach the arrow rest with paracord! 😬

Awesome. Thank you for bringing such innovation to the slingshot world!
Can't wait to try mine in the woods. With some break down arrows, this is an incredible portable option. A must have for your go bag!!!
Enjoy!

Great slingshot, professional presentation, remarkable your care for safety. Very eloquent but try to smile sometimes.🖖
Flippinout Slingshot products are always top of the line. Highly Reccommend!

Oh, brother. Just shoot the damn thing.
Robert Cornelius he's just trying to help people out Robert. Sheesh.
When putting the straw on how do you keep it square?

Looks like a good one, will prob go for this one I reckon. Presuming it ships to England too. Good vid
You're #1! slingshot's master!
This was really helpful! Thank you man!
Glad to hear it! Thank you!

Is this product still available?
And,, am I to understand that you are not able to use the wrist brace in conjunction with the light/fishing reel?
It is definitely available. We were sold out recently but we’re restocked!
And we absolutely recommend using the wrist brace with accessories! The rail is independent of the brace!
SimpleShot since I asked that question I've visited your website. But I still have a couple questions,,,
Do you have stronger bands available?
I didn't notice the fishing reel/rod attachment?
Can you shoot the fishing darts?
What about using double flat bands?
Can I get a custom setup from you?
I am ordering the Hammer master collection.
But I would like to get the strongest bands possible. Would you be able to tell me what they are.

This is the point you should focus on for best performance. Don't mistake draw weight for down-range velocity. Tuning is where you'll get your velocity. Match your bands to your ammo. This is irrevalent but for a scout gen2 does it matter which way the ears are facing because I have mine facing inwards.
Yes, Octavio. The ears should be facing out!
Where’s the update. Aren’t there a lot of changes on current options?
No, it is still the same.
Question? Should I trim the bands to my draw length for active band length as I normally would? Like a 5X factor for my 28 inch draw
I think you can, but do it after you've installed them and are satisfied with your setup. Then just trim the excess from the front of the slingshot, keeping a bit uncut.
Edit: As for should you; it's down to you. If you feel that it's the sweet spot for you, then knock yourself out. I'm not sure if there is a tradeoff between drawing back harder and any shortening of the lifespan of the bands by doing so.
is the whisker biscuit standard size any arrow can be shot?
We feel safe saying any standard size, yes. There is a limit, of course, but a standard arrow should be fine!.
The actual circular opening is 5/16".
Great video, my friend. I need one!!!
I am so interested to have one hammer slingshot how much is one set as shown in videos
The full kit is 99 dollars (on sale right now for 82). Big announcement tomorrow, though. ;)
. . . it'll be tomorrow in just hours.
Genius instruments. Well presented do you have a UK distributors? Cheers
Well there's proshotcatapults.com but right now they're out of stock and no LT heads on their list, just XT.
What’s size arrows are best for the hammer ?
I've been trying to call the 888 # on the Web site but it doesn't work from Canada. When will the hammer be back in stock?
Literally on the to-do list for today. We switched phone systems and updated the number on the site now. International calls: 828.417.7389
What's the first reel's name and brand?
First reel?
nice video! very helpful.. where can i get that bowfishing reel adapter?
+hja a We will have an adapter available very soon.
FYI, all the bowfishing gear is on the site now!
Why do you not recommend not shooting stones with looped tubes?
We do not recommend the use of stones as ammo as they do not fly true. Hitting unintended targets is a real possibility.
@@simpleshot So you could shoot them fine and not hit you frame. They just might curve when you shoot them. So if there is nothing in front of you that should not get hit its fine to shoot them.
thx
You may have problems with the pouch. Our pouches are designed for ball ammo. For rocks, you will typically need a bigger pouch.
@@simpleshot Ok, I make my own bands so I have some bigger pouches.
Perfect!

Swiss army ... SLINGSHOT ??
Alloys treat a slingshot as if it was loaded.
😆 Lol
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
how too by
What! I’ve had my wrist rocket for years better go tell every kid I know to ditch it
Good thing I can remove my wrist brace
Remember to use saliva for easier insertion. 😋
