just fyi - this is the first and last video i intend to make on brandon - the less time spent thinking about him, the better. i was very undecided on whether to do this at all, but this is such an iconic bit of smite history that i thought it should be included, but let me know if you disagree, as i might just take it down. something much more wholesome coming next :)

Even Hi Rez couldn't stand him. All the casters are enjoying it. All the pros are enjoying it. All the community is enjoying it. This was less a friendly game and more like an organized public hit.

@@claudio169 He got caught doing some seriously bad shit which lead to his (forced) departure from the game, on top of that however he was widely reported to be a scumbag towards the people around him and in the smite community. you can find the accounts of both his behavior and misconduct with a bit of googling if your interested but the moral of the story is he was a very problematic member of the community throughout his time being apart of the game.

I honestly can't believe Hi Rez held onto DM for as long as they did, he'd been BMing ranked games 20 hours a week for YEARS before he 'resigned'.
See this is what you get for saying your the best player in Smite. So many times I heard him say that so yeah, pros gonna put you in your place. I also love how they basically didn't care if they won or lost, they were just out for blood.

Aphrodite is one of the worst gods you can team dive as. A good Aphrodite player would’ve waited for backup, or at the very least, after hearing Ymir put up the wall, realized they made a mistake and shrug their shoulders instead of inventing boogeymen to protect their pride.

Not going to lie, this really was awesome. Thanks so much. I got into Smite 4 years ago, and didn't get really into it til about 2 years ago so a lot of stuff I missed in the community, but I had my own experience with dm and, frankly, I'm happy to hear he got cancelled. I'm not into cancel culture or anything, but for sure this guy needed to go.

I started playing this year, and all I can gather is that he was a loudmouth streamer. Obvs he was never a pro league player. I don't know why he was on the Hi-Rez team.

I did find out yesterday that he was pretty much just a piece of shit in the community so everybody in the match was just focusing him because of it. Made it ever more funny knowing why they did it xD

One time twitch viewer donated with a message saying that he struggled with depression and that watching dm helped him feel better. Dm responded to the guy by telling him not to put that responsibility on him, then suggested that the guy should end his life.
That incident got him fired from HiRez, but he still had a large twitch/youtube following. He kept doing streams/videos for a couple years and was super toxic to everyone until eventually, a bunch of allegations came out against him including sexual assault. He hasn’t publicly posted on any account since the allegations came out.
You know, I’ve been having some of the worst shit happening lately for a couple of months now, and seeing Hinduman and BMBrandon get absolutely farmed just made me feel so much better. Thank you

I don't think anyone has heard from him since everything came out, right? I mean, I find it crazy how someone can literally disappear like he did. Prolly looking over his shoulder everywhere he goes now hoping he doesn't run into people he knows... BUT I'd say by the end of the year, or just after, he will come out with an apology video that his loyalist of loyalists will sap up and start watching him again.
