Maria Bamford is unique, beyond brilliant and singularly hilarious. She is like no other comic in her vocal characterizations, elastic facial expressions and weaving of surreal situations while representing honest emotions in intelligent women and sensitive people in general. I could go on, but that could get cloying. I heart (and mind) Maria Bamford.

I love Maria, but her style doesn't fit these 4 and a half minute slices very well. Seemed like she was moving quickly to get her spot done in time. When she can go at her own pace, she's fucking brilliant!

It's fascinating but I don't think I could recommend it to anybody but people who already GET Maria ( whatever that means ).
Second season would probably mean dilution and eking it out. Be happy with one season of greatness. I don't know if Maria has enough additional torture to pull up out of her soul. In a way, I hope not.
