  • I am so excited to share with you this amazing bible study curriculum for kids, called More Than Words. I love the depth in this study and how it doesn’t just skim the surface but really dives deep. The character traits that are covered are perfect for the age range this book was written for and I know my kids are going to love it as much as I already do!
    We love having morning time in our homeschool and I know this will make a fantastic addition to our morning basket. With art studies, word studies, hymns and poetry - it will fit right into what we are already studying in morning time.

    This was a great look at the book. It made me think it could work for my 8 year old. I thought it looked a bit young for her when I looked on the MB site and their sample pages. I had been caught out buying My Story 1 for her and finding it was too juvenile for her, but this looks good. We are not in the US so it costs a lot more (like about $65) so I have to select carefully. I too check out UA-cam to look at homeschooling resources, and this was a really good flip through.

    Great flip through!! I’m looking at getting this for next school year, and I’d love to know how it’s been working for your younger two? I’ll have a 2nd grader and Kinder, and want something that would work for both.

      I’m glad you liked the video! So I didn’t end up liking it for my younger kids. It was good for my first grader though! We are switching it up and doing something different for bible just for a change, but we still love it and will finish it at some point 😊

    Thank you for sharing. What does your school year look like? What is the "cut off" you mentioned?

    • @RaisingNobles
      @RaisingNobles  2 роки тому

      we usually start in August and end in june for a 8 weeks or so, then we start the new school year. the cut off is just for my state, my state says that children born before a certain day of the year need to start 1st grade

    That looks amazing , I wish it was suitable for the pre k age it’s hard to find a good one for them

    • @RaisingNobles
      @RaisingNobles  4 роки тому

      This one is really good. yeah it's a little too advanced for pre-k. Just reading bible stories is usually enough at that age. Or have you tried the rod and staff bible stories and coloring book? It has a coloring page that corresponds with a story. My prek boys colored the picture while I read the story and loved it.

    Quick question does this book have images of Christ? If there are pictures of Jesus are there a lot of them or is it primarily within the picture studies?

      @J 4 Love So we believe that when it says in second commandment not to make any graven images that it also includes not making images of Jesus I found this link that explains it better then I can and I hope it can help www.opc.org/nh.html?article_id=438

      Hi Kayla, no this is just a bible curriculum. For reading you would need a language arts curriculum, I have some suggestions on my channel, but a good place to start is the good and the beautiful
