This was absolutely incredible. Also that ending shot of Julia standing there shaking while just watching brought out a genuine deep seeded uncomfortable feeling to my body with her face distorted and I will be billing you for my therapy, thanks in advance.
And then she goes brrr again and conjures another one out of thin air. Julia HAS some connection to the chaos dimensions, 100%, this animation confirms!
So far I've seen 3 different visual interpretations of that Julia noise now. There is the official drawfee one where they use the liquefy tool on the avatar of the speaker to make them go all droopy. There was another animatic where they scrunched up the bodies of the character until it was just arms and legs coming out of a head, and now this one where just Julia's face turns into a Uzumaki style spiral face. I'm interested to see more artists interpretations of that noise.

Julia already having the "URRP" face going on and then doing the noise again really got me. I didn't know if the face would spiral up more but the fact that it just got bigger really got me dude. Laughing so hard my belly hurts 😂❤️
Hi there yes hello I’m from the future just wanted to shout-out the benefits of being an English major, we LOVE visual gags that totally didn’t need to be there and yet there they are and they RULE
I love how Jacob is always looking at Julia with a mix of genuine concern and horror, but he’s clearly confused about whether he’s in love with some sort of eldritch horror and why he’s absolutely cool with it either way.
I usually like to watch these videos 2 times - one time on regular speed and the second one frame by frame, to see all the cool little Easter eggs. This time it was a huge mistake, because the way Julia's face gets twisted looks HORRENDOUS frame by frame. I doubt I'll be able to sleep this week. Great job, it's a great animation as usual.
obsessed with how jacob is the only one that seems to have a problem with this nathan and karina are having fun with their friend but jacob is deeply uncomfortable and no one else seems to care 😩 amazing as always you always bring some kind of curse upon jacob in these and its SO funny
Onionulia is now my nightmare demon, and I empathize heavily with Jacob's distress levels throughout this whole segment. I also am pretending that vibrating Onionulia is not standing behind my chair, Jacob. If we believe hard enough it will surely be true.
there is so so much to love about this. jacob with wet hair just looks like a good school boy, which makes me want to see them draw their opposites in an episode (good boy jacob, mean teen nathan, pokemon connoisseur julia and innocent karina). the spiral is such a great visual for the sound. i was amused yet horrified when julia removed it from her face, just to grow another spiral. the “drawfee new yorker edition” animations were awesome! and i love just looking at jacob’s mildly concerned facial expressions. there is so much character in every frame! well done! Also julia’s 👉👈 at the end was adorable
I love how Julia makes a weird noise and everybody immediately starts giggling because they know it's a bit and they can't wait to see how it relates to the topic of the video
I need more of these animations, I can only rewatch them so many times in a day. And now this too, shall enter the void of rewatched videos that live rent free in my head.
Have we acknowledged the smile on Julia's spiraled face when it first happens? Like she's so unfazed by what just happened. It made for a really funny visual.
Great job as always! I like your sneaky comic too. I think my favorite thing about your animations is your way of displaying different types of discomfort from anxiety and disgust, to full-blown existential crises.

Ok, I absolutely love every one of your animations! Here comes the compliment sandwich, this one... THIS ONE! Always happy to help!
Welcome to the Julia experience. Decidedly uncomfortable in ways you can't quite describe, but you just can't look away.
What i like most about that last shot is that Julia is in her stance she makes when asking Jacob if he likes her outfit.
I'm a Lil bit upset that Jacob of all people got to put a ring on her finger. She's the kind of person that makes me wish our sexualities aligned
Deep-seated
Monster Julia shaking in the background out of focus while Jacob nervously draws is my favorite image of the week, easily.
I like to imagine that's how it really goes
I like to imagine this is how it goes whenever julia isn’t on an episode. she is a looming vibrating unsettling presence riiiiight behind you
It looks like the found footage recording of like an scp or something
I think her head is also subtly growing the whole time?
I read this and I wasn't prepared. I'm laughing my ass off right now
I love that only Julia turns into a body horror when she makes the sound.
As a little treat
Julia, Mother of Monsters, has now Become the Monster.

The Drawfee crew as The New Yorker fancy hat guy was just so satisfying to look at. I absolutely loved those few seconds.
Thanks Ryann!

BIG SAME!!!
my favorite seconds, if I didn't already love my current meme, it'd be my phone background
That was one of my favourite moments as well, especially when counterpointed with Julia's hand-drawn stick-figure version of The New Yorker cover!

Knowing Julia, Yes.
I loved when Julia just fully removes the spiral from her face (only to, seconds later, grow a new one)
She does that to bring it back to her brood to feed the hatchlings.
That ending with Julia vibrating behind a duressed Jacob trying to draw was priceless
She looked like an SCP

Lovely views indeed.
The look of discomfort and stress when Jacob looks at Juila when her face twists up the second time is great.
Further proof that Julia is our Lovecraftian god. She cannot be known, she doesn’t need our adoration, but by golly she’s getting it.
Julia becoming a Junji Ito monstrousity seems like the fulfillment of her dreams.
