Looks great Adam. I need to do the same on mine. Been fixing slow eas leak on mine. I’ve had the dash out but I’ve still got the hevac warning book. I need to take the whole dash out again and sort the blend motors. Good job.
Looks fantastic Adam. Your video are great thank you. Regards your hvac, I've just replaced my passenger side blend motor, you can get to it if you remove the glovebox and airbag.
Very smart; congratulations on your stamina! I'm about to do something very similar on a P38, but the drivetrain and a lot of under-bonnet mechanicals/electricals have to be on worked on by someone who knows that part of the machine better than I do. I spent a few years doing the same process on a boat, finally owning a shiny and very lovely Fisher25. This P38 is going to take a very long time, but I've nothing much else to do! I don't have anything like the indoor space that you do, so the weather will be a factor.
I recently did a polish on my p38 and it made it look better, need to replace the vac blend doors..... and the shocks but she's in really good shape,,, oh and somehow I need to get a new key made
I would recommend you use a lambs wool pad and cutting compound 1st up, than switch to foam polishing pads and polishing compound, but regardless it come up good
looks terrific for an old P38 damn nice job Adam! One small question , the rear muffler boxes look to be hanging very low..... are they original? they may ground out if you go up a steep incline. I had a 2001 4.6 HSE P38 20 years ago and I only saw the small rear tips of the pipes at the back not the entire mufflers.... are these rear mufflers aftermarket ?
Definitely not factory spec, they are just a cheap aftermarket make. I’ve seen a lot of these on P38s for sale, the tail boxes should not hang anywhere near this low to the ground.
Great work! You are a brave man parking it out in the mud after putting in so much cleaning. Ha ha.
IMO one of the best looking cars ever made inside and out. I miss mine 😐

Great job. Keep the videos of this and farming coming - really enjoyable to watch work being done to a high standard.

Trying to get anybody to cut me a new key has been the hardest job yet for me.
I always thought it was a black truck, also you should out the badges back after detailing it will be satisfying
Great video. Can you recommend a polishing machine?

I actually give mine a quick wash and blow dry after detailing to remove any residue before waxing,

They have been replaced at some point, but they’ are still factory spec mufflers

Why do you have so genius car skill !!
Are you professional ???
Thanks, I’m far from a professional 😂
He’s a very clever lad and a hard worker.
Nearside probably worse for scratches because of hitting hedges on country lanes. Didn’t you say you got it from someone local?
Good answer, yes they were roughly 1 hour away from me.
I need one
Just seen outside kendal brewery fancy detailing another? 😅. And keep the badges off
