Loved the podcast! What an amazing and inspirational journey - would love to see more of his music and films coming out soon too! On a lighter note. “Last Question: One project that is close to your heart? Kashan bhai: Bhulado!!!”
Umair just to say thank you. I known Kashan from long long back via common friend (Faraz, Babar). Was lovely to hear about his journey in music. Keep it up.
Amazing podcast of Kashan Admani from Mizmaar. When I was listening to Mizraab and the other band with the word Miz and added a double A in it and made it Mizmaar 😂😂😂 that did sound confusing but it makes sense that it’s another band. We Are One and Mizmaar’s songs Pal, Laut Ke Aa, Sitara and Tu Jo Mere, Jogi are one of my favourites. Thanks for taking my question Umair and looking forward to more.
Amazing podcast and I am glad to hear some positive kind of compliments about Fawad Baloch from him only though a lot of guitarist knows about him from Faraz to Shallum and a lot others but Kashan is the only musician who pointed him as a wonderful guitar player which is completely true Thanks to Kashan Appreciate if you could invite Fawad Baloch or shortlist him for a podcast Thanks
Loving these podcasts so much. Always wanted to know these musicians and this is a great initiative. Kashan ji's story is so inspiring how a creator learn stuff step by step and the journey is amazing. please bring more musicians
All the episodes of this podcast are unique in their own way as every individual has had to face their own set of challenges and its refreshing and interesting to hear how they countered those challenges without the help of Internet. These guys have stood the test of time and have adapted to a sea change multiple times in their careers in an industry and culture which is infamous for forgetting its heroes and considers musicians to be at the bottom of the chain. Forget their body of work , these guys deserve respect for sticking to this business despite knowing full well that their contribution and efforts might never be recognised.
Thank you and agreed! Everyone’s story is unique and inspiring in its own way. In Pakistan pursuing music is just about one of the toughest things one can possibly do, so there is a lot to learn from those that have stuck to it and managed to build successful careers in this field!
Thank you - please check out my (now disbanded) band The D/A Method youtube.com/@thedamethod?si=d_ldhnvM33A4doJ6 And current band Cosmic Fluid - several videos on this channel if you search. Will do a podcast when someone is willing to ask me all the questions 😸
