Hey Ellen, hope you guys are doing OK there in Tennessee. And hope your husband is doing well also. Another awesome video, thank you for sharing your life with us.
Looks beautiful … the colors look great ❤❤❤ . Love how simple you keep things and explain clearly. There are only few UA-camrs who share their recipes and ima simple way . Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️
Love all your soaps and candles. From watching your show I have been making these soaps now for a year and still learning. It’s a blast creating everything.
So from what I’ve read, there are certain chemicals in fragrance oils besides vanilin that when exposed to the alkaline environment of soap discolors because of accelerated oxidation of these other chemicals. Apparently this happens more often with fragrances that are more complex. 😁 It’s worth it for the fragrance sometimes though lol this soap is lovely even with the discoloration. It looks a bit more fall like than the flower soap that didn’t go through gel phase. I think those colors look more in the line of Easter colors. Both are gorgeous! ❤️
Well. I made one of your simple recipes this morning. I was so exhausted by the end. 😂😂😂 I decided to make a orange poppyseed goatrmilk soap. Using yellow clay with alfalfa colorant, sweet orange EO. I think it will look horrible. Have it covered with a towel until the surprise reveal tomorrow🤔 I stopped mixing at a thin trace to give me time to color half orange and it started to get a puddings trace SO fast l was panicking and made the biggest mess.🙈. I think it's going to be a terrible orange color. I tried to do your flipping swirling and it was to thick. So if it looks half decent come tomorrow I'll be surprised. Fingers coursed🤞🤞🤞 This was the first 48 oz soap batch I've made and whoooo. One for some practice to do😅😅😅😅 You make it look easy peasy. NOT😂😂😂😂😫

Thank you🧡
Black tie barn has a similar scent they sell called first snow. But I do love sweater weather too.
I love these colors
Loved the colors. Have you called the supplier of fragrance oil maybe they can tell you why it happens. I live sweater weather. Thanks for sharing.
Very understandable calculations
It contains.50% of ethyl vanillin which cause discoloration as well and imo worse than vanillin, beautiful Ellen as always.
Thank you for explaining that to me🧡
Beautiful Ellen!
Awesome soap. Love the colors.

You get this pesky little thing called e-vanelin, which the suppliers do not list. And it also discoler your soap.
It is pesky indeed🤣
Where do you get your FO from?
This was from BeScented
Where do you sell your soaps?
I no longer sell retail.
