Grew up poor before welfare was a normal way of life. Been without food or place to sleep besides in a car from birth to 15 when I left my mother who would be a woke type nowadays. What likely happened is that the attackers saw this woman trying to flag others down, and felt as if THEY were now being wronged by her doing that. So they came back around to let her have it as a result. This mentality of criminals today is frightening. Where you can't even defend yourself or do anything to help yourself get away from without them feeling that you've now wronged them and they are further justified in committing violence against you. Absolutely insane what this society is coming to.

Agree with 99% of this video, but want to provide my thoughts on the bus driver and other drivers who ignored her. I live in Chicago, and bus drivers don't stop unless they are at a bus stop. I'm fairly certain the reason this bus driver ignored her is because the bus driver assumed this woman was trying to get on in-between stops, which bus drivers aren't allowed to do. As for the other drivers, they probably assumed she was a crazy homeless lady who wanted change or was tweaking.

I totally agree. We are far beyond the 'helping others' phase. Doing so can put yourself in danger. A bus driver is responsible for his passengers. Who's to say a random person in the street is not playing the damsel in distress only for the bus passengers to be robbed by waiting thugs. Ditto for anyone else driving past. It's a tough situation and I think most people would pull over for someone clearly in distress but when the rights of criminals exceed the rights of other citizens, what are people supposed to do.

To be fair I'm sure plenty of people in Chicago are waived down and robbed by the person waiving them down seemingly in need of help.
To be totally honest there's a good chance I would stop if the woman looked like me. But living in a city that regularly tops "most dangerous" lists, based on simple pattern recognition I will not stop for others. I have had ghetto looking women try to flag me down in the city and I used to feel bad about not stopping but now feel I made the right choice. Too many of their fellow brothers and sisters have created a situation where it's just not worth the risk. They should be me mad at them, not me.

ONe of the reasons people with stable jobs don't commit crimes is because they care enough about their jobs that they don't want to risk getting fired.
Being potentially caught, or doing things that could negatively impact their job and therefore negatively impact the stable money they can potentially bring back.
Being sent to jail or even being charged and sent to prison could potentially result in getting fired.
So it's also that ironically enough People with jobs Can't afford to commit low level crimes like this.
The Act of having to prove yourself innocent. i.e. having to appear for a court hearing could negatively impact their work.
But people with jobs do commit crime it's just there crimes are hiding ex: government, president, police all hiding crimes

These violent crimes have been going on in Chicago for so long. It’s one of the reasons why my family and I have left there 20 years ago. I will go and visit, but I will never live there. Because I have families and friends that live there and I always urge them to leave.
