I just love these informative and vaguely instructional vids. You remind me a lot of Ed China in your presentation.

good luck with the headstock bearings, on my xt600 the lower one took 4 hours to grind the shell out with a dremel and a set of coal chisels, there is no channel to get good purchase on it. an alternative is to weld a piece onto the shell and knock out. hope the tt frame is different.

I've got a 91 in my garage with under 1000 miles on the clock, had to put it away due to knee surgery, I couldn't risk kicking it over so stashed it away, these sound like a chinook helicopter when you take the baffles out. I'm watching this and loving it, I need your help on where to get the carb rebuild kit 😎

Ha, I kinda want mine to sound like a chinny 😅. I'll dig the link out and post it in the update video I'm planning on filming soon 😎👌🏻

    Love the grand finish!
I peeled a chunk of skin off my leg first time I kicked mine over. It's definitely a feeling you don't forget.

😂😂 Always funny to see who watches the ending. I also lost skin off my leg, it must be a scar we all get

Just interested in your float valve post repair method? I just ultrasonic cleaned my xt85 carb and it was in a lot better shape, but would be interested to know your repair method for the future fun. Mikunioz do a lovely single carb conversion kit which I'd like to try. Good luck and keep up the progress videos.

Oi' as stated by another what happened to the float post repair??? The carburettor settings are in the manual, you have got one of those?

Nice job, have always wanted to learn about valve adjustment, that helped me understand more, but being as its so cheap to service my bike I'll leave it for now, I might be tempted more if I could find a manual for the 300 rally. Good luck for the next phase

Totally doable at home, but for the price, sometimes it's worth leaving to the garage 🤷🏻‍♂️
