    I'm glad I finally found a local Breakout video. I've got a 2013 CVO Breakout, been riding for two years now, and thought I was the only one riding a Breakout in Tennessee.

    I have a '13 Breakout in Big Blue Pearl and love it. The steering is a little slow but it is a very stable and fun bike to ride. Cool video!

    I like how you guys did the dual-vlog review. The Breakout is one sweet looking ride. My previous bike was a FatBob and I loved the large rear tire. Nice job.

    The audio is great. It is nice to hear those pipes. That 107 Road king was exactly like mine. It was cool to see my bike ride by! Pretty unique the way you do the reviews.

    AWESOME REVIEW !! I was thinking bout getting one of these, and you guys have made the BEST HONEST REVIEW YET,, people say " oh that's just a "Bar hopper" or You can't take long cruises" you should get a Street Glide" which are nice also, but I feel like those have turned into a "Fad" or "Trend'.. But I work a lot of hours, I don't have a lot of time to take rides to Vegas or Miami.. I just want to ride and enjoy the sound on the weekends (and look cool) :) If I want to go fast I'll jump in my 496 SS Chevelle LOL... But I feel the Breakout is a Hot Rod too !! How bout your thoughts? and keep up the great work !! I'm a Fan !!

    its my favorite model, I just don't like having to lean forward. id probably go with t bars 10 inches with no pull back. that's my favorite bar with softails

    Handle curves really well? You must be joking. They have zero cornering clearance.

    This might be a silly question but how do you keep your shades from fogging up? I have some nice shades with the foam surround to block out wind(and they do a good job of doing so) but they fog up easily when I wear a mask.

  • @gghostrrider
    @gghostrrider 7 років тому +2

    How did the big tire feel, did it affect the handling? More stable in curves, harder to lean in?

    • @WhenPigsFlyHigh
      @WhenPigsFlyHigh  7 років тому +2

      It felt amazing! The difference in handling I would say is more due to the rake in the front. It takes a little getting use to.

      If you go with a 120 vs. the stock 130 up front it'll turn in easier, at least that has been my experience since installing one recently (Pirelli Night Dragons).

  • @matthewsummers6895

    I like the look of the breakouts but I'm not a big fan of the drag bars. I've been looking at a lot of different Harleys for my first bike and I'm having a hard time deciding what I like best. I'm leaning more towards a heritage or a Fatboy. My girlfriend's dad has a 2010 heritage he'd let me ride around to practice on. What would you guys suggest I look at for a first Harley?

    • @WhenPigsFlyHigh
      @WhenPigsFlyHigh  7 років тому

      Matthew That's a great question. It really depends on a few things. How tall are you? What kind of riding will you be doing? You can't go wrong with any of the bikes you mentioned! I would strongly recommend you go test ride the bikes you are interested in. Just from reading your post I think you would like the Street Bob. Awesome machine! We have a video on it too. It looks sharp with apes on it too!

    • @matthewsummers6895
      @matthewsummers6895 7 років тому +1

      Thank you. I'm about 6 foot tall and about 220 pounds. The type of riding I'd like to do is just get on and go and I'll be back whenever, so I guess you could say fairly long rides. And every year my girlfriend's dad and some of his friends go to Little Sturgis in Sturgis Kentucky every and I'd like to ride down to that with them. But mostly I want something I can stretch my legs out and be comfortable and I'm a big fan of the mini apes

      The V Rod may be a little difficult because they don't produce them anymore. Maybe if they get a used one in we can ride it though.

    How comfortable would this bike be on long road trips?

  • @bigogtt4905
    @bigogtt4905 7 років тому +1

    Would you recommend the breakout to someone like me who's 5'8 to be comfortable on it. Because it is a guy that owns a breakout and he is 5'5 and he says he is comfortable

    • @WhenPigsFlyHigh
      @WhenPigsFlyHigh  7 років тому

      Thanks for the question! I can tell you that I was very comfortable but I'm 6'2. Joker is 5'10 and said he felt too stretched but he is use to riding a road glide with 14" bars. I watched another review where a salesman from HD said they were designed for someone 5'10 and up. It's just 2" I say go test it out. They are so nice you have too lol!

    • @baptismos8969
      @baptismos8969 7 років тому +1

      I'm 5'-9" and I fit just fine on my Breakout. As long as you can flat foot it you'll be able to ride it comfortably.

    • @WhenPigsFlyHigh
      @WhenPigsFlyHigh  7 років тому +1

      Simon Te definitely depends on what kind of riding. If your going to be running around town then yes. If you like to hit the mountains and take long ride then probably not.
