The best part of this teamup is that they function as a far better XForce than the team in Deadpool 2 did. Elektra and Blade are the only two that werent on the team before, if i recall correctly.
That still of the 6 of them about to lay down the law, it reminds me of the 5 in Tropic Thunder once Damien gets blown up due to an old French mine. That picture of the 5 of them, I want that on a wall, like the Mighty 6
3:16 I completely agree. I didn't mind Hugh Jackman having a rest from the role after 20 years letting the MCU have a new cast. Henry Cavil would have been perfect for MCU Wolverine, but wouldn't mind if they tried to go the New Mutants route with Laura and the younger cast. Marvel and DC have so many characters that deserve the spotlight in the mainstream but will never get it if at least a minor role.
The quote about Daredevil being dead to Elektra is a reference to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner getting married, then Ben gettin with somebody else after her (I think he married Jennifer Lopez; Aniston, Garner, and Lopes... to many Jennies from the block...)
I think I’ve fallen in love with Gambit. Never seen him before these reactions. That accent, those moves, that sense of humor. I’d have a poster of him up on my wall if I could. Not sure how I’d explain that one to my husband, though.
She’s Australian. So many people speak English, it’s too narrow minded to assume small town Australia or NZ or Canada or Jamaica or Scotland or, you get the point. Don’t assume ignorance as evil. Once those that are ignorant get educated & still act like jerks, then, by all means, troll them hard. American is so large & diverse & awesome we forget, we are large, like the size of Europe or the Sahara. There are going to be people on this blue marble that orbits our star Sol that know nothing about the U.S. yet they still speak English.
I find it funny that Blade is fighting Azazel, an enemy that looks like the devil. Blade usually fights vampires and other supernatural entities.
The addition of a comic-accurate Gambit made this movie for me.
Loved Gambit in the 80s and 90s and Tatum plays him perfectly.

A lot of the enemies were recast, unfortunately. Juggernaut and Deathstrike being the obvious ones. I think Toad is the same actor.
