I superglued a strong magnet to my phone mount and one on the stick...😂 it works really well! 👌🏻 it's basically the cheapest phone stick I could find...😂 lost 2 already because of off roading, but it's so cheap and I got 10 sticks in a pack for like $2🤣
Thanks for the Video! What experiences do you have with the QUAD LOCK...have you installed a vibration damper? Many new smartphones can have problems with the optical image stabilizer.
I used to have a ram mount and it broke my camera twice, after that I got the quad lock with vibration damper and haven't had any issues, even off road! Totally worth the money!
Thanks for the video! What about Bluetooth connectivity? Can you connect the phone without the app? Unfortunately, I had to find out that it is not working in Europe
hello brother. can you tell me is you can conect the GPS/carplay by cabel? i think if you conect by cabel you can block the screen and still have acesses at the GPS
@@enricobononi8655 well...that's how mirror works...as I mentioned...if you don't use the integrated maps on the APP, then you need to mirror...which means copy your screen, so obviously if you lock the screen, it will turn black on the bike.
DO you really need the app to cast the screen to the display? The QR code basically tells you the accesspoint data of the bike, so you can connect to it. Can you just cast the screen with the built-in function of your phone like you would do for any TV set without even opening the app? That would solve the missing app issue for all markets out of China I guess :D
Scren sharing you your TV works because both devices are on the same wifi, seeing as the bike doesn't have the ability to connect to your wifi, you need to connect to it first using the app and then you can broadcast the screen. There should be an international app available soon!
@@Nelisjvr that's what the QR code is for. The bike opens a random wifi network in AP mode and your phone connects to it. I talked to kove manager and he said the app internationally is not yet planned but insisted on the availability of the screen mirrorring function despite that. So I am guessing it works as I detailed above... But... We will see. Lot's of water going down the yang Tse until I get to test it. Bikes should ship this week... Yay.
@@tiger6x6 The QR code takes you to the appdownload location. It doesn't have any information on the wifi (I've decoded it and can't find anything that works). It's my major frustration at the moment with mine.
I can't get the app to work as ut asks for a phone number and on Android doesnt allow the country code of the phone nunber to be changed. This is the latest version 1.0.6 which is 6 months old so Insuppose we have to wait hopefully to get the functions we paid for!
@@Nelisjvr My dealer is as confused as me 🙂 The 3rd party app won't connect on bluetooth, and I can't connect t the wifi as I can't find anything that gives the wifi password. I have tried with the ThinkerRide app but not got anywhere. I watched your video and I believe you were using the iPhone. Anyone got it working on an Android device?
@@mikeking4263 for android on the software I have it's the same, I do know that you should have your phone connected to wifi before you try to connect to the bike, even just a Hotspot from another phone is ok👌🏻
I see it in the exhibition here in Greece i was thinking as an alternative to tuareg 660. But now i think it's not worth it. I think the 9000 that asking for this, without quickshifter, without phone connectivity, without curse control, without resell value.....its a lot (ps the tuareg is 3000 more, but is the best driving experience i ever had on i bike. I will test ride the kove tomorrow, let's see)
The Tuareg also have no quickshifter, no phone connectivity, less power, smaller displacement, suspension is not as good as on the Kove and lower ground clearance. My friend has the Tuareg, he changed the suspension and made some modifications to his bike. I also tested the tuareg, for off road it's great, but on road it's a little lazy, in my opinion, I guess it all depends on the rider's preference! Im fortunate to have gotten it for $8000 with a quickshifter. Although a quickshifter is not really a necessity, it's not a race bike you are going to take to a track, I don't mind using a clutch.
Bravo
Useful video🙏
Hi Do you have a quickshifter? Thank you very much and congratulations on the bike I'm about to change my 790R for a Kove 800
@@muxarrita hi, yes mine came with a quickshifter! You'll enjoy it!💪🏻
Waw the stick is a very good idea. How is it fixed to the handlebar ?
Any link to buy it ?
Thanks !

Yes you can connect to Bluetooth only, then you only have the weather and altitude, no other functions!
