The Atlanta Braves should consider trading for Erick Fedde

- Ever since Spencer Strider left this season with an elbow injury, the Atlanta Braves have had to dance around the back-end of the rotation. We've seen Allan Winans, Darius Vines, and even Bryce Elder take a shot at being the fifth starter. None have quite been able to hang around longer than a couple of starts. And yes, there are other internal options, like an AJ Smith-Shawver. However, the Braves may find themselves trading for a starting pitcher. As the market stands, there is one guy that fits the bill - Erick Fedde of the Chicago White Sox. Tune in now to learn why.

Tyler for assistant manager!!! Tyler's intake year after year is usually spot on (or should have been).
Pitching is the least of our issues. Our offense is atrocious right now. Pitching has been pretty good.
I agree with what your saying and it is kind of early to be trading but if they can get Erick Fedde...I'm all for it. I have faith in AA and Snitker, they both know what the Braves are lacking and need more than we do. ⚾🙂👍
I have Comcast Xfinity and they dropped Bally Sports...I'm perturbed that I can't watch my Braves now. 🤬
Erick Fedde, signed a 2 yr $15 million dollar deal. He is under contract for 2025. I am still sure the Sox will hear and take an offer that helps their rebuild.
Agree totally with Kuhlio 1313. Pitching is NOT as problematic as the DEAD offense. Acuna has not showed up this season, Albies swings at everything, Riley is the best strikeout hitter in the NL, but Olson is not far behind. What's bad about Riley, he has virtually K'd e very at bat with runners in scoring position, WITH LESS than 2 outs. Olson is a master of strikeouts as well hitting JUST over the Mendoza line.
Harris has become a strike hitter, Duval and Kelenic are totally dismal....BOTH need to go.
In honest reality, The Braves have shown this past six games they have monumental problems up and down the lineout and pitching. As always, and Tyler knows this, I've been a Braves fans since they were in Milwaukee, BUT, I tell what is see day-in-and-day out. Folks, you can not sugar coat this.
Oh, BTW, why isn't anyone talking about AJ Minter. He has come off the rails
We have a PTBNL due from them too
The Braves are in deep crap. They are looking at a wildcard with the Phillies pitching. Something is wrong with this team.
Agree, but i thing a WC is only a maybe
Should have gone after Sonny Gray at the beginning.
Backups for infield and outfield players.
Pitching as of now, is not the problem. The Braves aren't hitting. They are batting now like they are in the playoffs.
My guess is the Braves don't want to go to the next level of luxury tax. That is why they aren't going after anyone.
Make a superteam!!!
The dodgers are far and away better than the Braves. Up to AA to close the gap
And Erick feede ain’t the way to do that. 5.25 career era….he has had 7 games. Doesn’t strike guys out either. He’s no better or worse than Elder or vines can bring us
Also Braves are playing at their worst and dodgers at their best right now wouldn’t read too much into 3 games.
Fedde .245 babip he’s getting incredibly lucky.
I’d like to see AJSS called up
@@FloridaMan23I’m with it
How can you say the offense is fine, as of now?
As in on paper. It’s obviously not performing to expectations, but we’re not trading it away. Pitching is the problem that I think is fixed outside of the organization. The offense has to click. One batter coming in won’t change where are now.
How is Michael Soroka doing so far for the whitesox ?
ERA north of 6 last I checked
I hope he can turn things around. A great guy and I think is still a great talent. I wonder all he has been through, could possibly something could have affected his arm and confidence?
Get Sonny Gray on the team!!!
Nolan Armando trade with St Louis to the Braves!!!
Trade Matt Olson and Elder in a package
Okay if trade Olson do have any ideas for a first baseman
@@davidthrash6096 Yuri Guirrel. He can’t be any worse at this point and is cheaper.
always said, should have kept Freeman. Freeman is a constant at plate and on defense. Can't say same for Olson
Need a bat too .. I’d trade Olson
His expected avg is .260 I wouldn’t worry about him. He did this last year too
@@robertg3658 this is the longest slump of his career, but yes he does this every year Indeed
Trade Bryce elder!!!
