I keep thinking that I am going more towards getting a van and designing a set up. This was a great idea on your bed. The Bed is the biggest challenge on space design! Enjoyed your video!

Your bed is just fine, most time spent in your van is sleeping and driving ! Comfort is king ! I'm blown away at the tiny beds people sleep on....lol

Bachelor Van Sleeping on the tiny spaces ALL the time just can't be healthy. I've been widowed for five months, sleeping on my husband's recliner and couches in the living room and my 47 year old body feels like I'm about 74!! I'm making my full sized daybed this weekend!! Hopefully in 2.5 years when I will be old enough to draw my husband's SSI and my son goes to college, I'll have my Astro van done and can hit the road!

offthehook4u - Cut the foam half way through and put the cut down. That way it folds easily but stays together when in bed mode. Happy travels - Harold

If I live long enough to draw Social Security which I'm not too far from it not quite but close I'd like to buy one of those hightop Vans some of them is already laid out like a camper,,,but just a regular cargo van the long extended kind if it already had a high top would be cool I could try and fix mine up like you did yours
