This time when I made everything was OK but there was a small defect there was a crack formed on one side the other places were OK can you say the reason for the crack I used 8inch itself

Yes. Use a big vessel and keep cake tin inside on a ring or plate. Then keep on low flame till cooked. Usually it takes 35-40 minutes. You can use a whisk instead of a beater
The maida which you added little by little for the batter not to get curdled did you take from the 200gm maida or did you take extra maida also 1and half powdered sugar my doubt is first must we take normal one and half cup sugar and then powder it or the other way round
