OPENING SEASON FLUKE FISHING! SINGLE JIG OWNS ALL!

- We are just underway to the 2024 fluke (summer flounder) season! Here is a video that covered a recent trip I had with my friend, Simon at a very heavily pressured spot along the shore. The single jig paid off as we were able to cull in a few quality fluke despite dealing with the pressure and cold water temperatures. If you master the single jig, it will be the advantage over any other methods under just about every condition. ENJOY!

I can't believe you don't have over 20k subscribers. Your videos are awesome and educational. Using your tips on the single jig set-up I caught my PB last summer! A 23" flounder from the beach.
Heck yea! Thanks for the kind note. Spread the word!
Thanks for the upload. Caught 2 keepers on opening day(19inch & 22inch).
Nice!!
Nice boat lol
I've been using the single jig since 1992
Nice, congrats!
Really love your channel and cooking and fishings channel. Could you do a party boat video ? Be great to see if the single jig works.
That would be a good challenge.
Use too love spear fishing that spot on rainy days less fishermen casting at my dive flag 😆
What rod are you using brand /model?
Where is that dock area?
Biggest fluke I’ve ever seen in my life came up on that dock to your right. 33 inches. Guy was using 5 inch killies for bait. Nobody had a scale but I’d imagine 12 pounds or more.
I do not doubt it!
What city are u in??
what rod would recommend for someone looking to get into fluke on a budget
What is your budget? There are a lot of options.
@@shore-moneyfishing1939 like $200
@@shore-moneyfishing1939 200 is max im willing to spend
What town are you in look like a nice spot
Any tips on how to fish the single jig? What's the key to the technique?
I'll do a video soon to cover the basics.
@shore-moneyfishing1939 That would be great..thanks!
Use the killie bobbers as target practice lol
lol, exactly.
1:25 don't most people use the single jig at that dock spot? anytime i've been there in the spring half the people are bouncing a white gulp on a single jig in the last year or two
Not on this day. I was surprised by the lack of single jiggers...or presence of single jiggers who also brought along a killie bobber setup. Cold water and nervous bite can really mess with people's minds, especially if they don't have command of the single jig technique.
@@shore-moneyfishing1939 killie bobber a day keeps the spring fluke away
Dude is seamoney cool with you copying his name
