Hey guys and gals, it's Jordan here back again with another review. This time of a little platforming game Shu. If you'd like to read the full review head over to our website: www.switchwatch.co.uk/shu-nintendo-switch-review As always I appreciate your support in me joining the lads at SwitchWatch. They've put a lot of trust in me to help them tell you guys about all the awesome Switch games coming out. Hope I'm doing okay so far! -Jordan
Yay! Just found this game the other day and I've run into some JANKY platformers, but was interested in the game for the artstyle. Good to know it runs smoothly and doesn't suffer from a case of "cute but awful"-itis.
Great review Jordan! Very cool that you joined this team! I love your channel guys, keep up the great work! How do you guys decided who gets to review which games? Do you have a round of Mario Kart or something lol
Ric Martinez Hey Ric Juan here. Truth is I dish them all out except for a few here and there. So many games to go around that we mostly don't really mind who does what although we all have our preferences that's for sure 😁 Great having Jordan with us as we can cover a lot more. I think the Mario idea is a great one!
The only things they have in common are being 2D and getting different powers with different companions. They're not even in the same genre, as Owlboy doesn't have much platforming. If people thought they'd be the same just because they both have an anthropomorphic bird protagonist, that's like assuming any 2D game with an anthropomorphic mammal is going to be a rip-off of Sonic. As a massive bird enthusiast looking out for any good game where you play as one of our dinosaur-descendent friends (scrap 'good', I'll take anything above Flappy Bird at this point), please don't frighten developers off of casting them instead of mammals by making them think they'll be dismissed as rip-offs.
@@compulsiverambler1352 This comment was kind of cute, being that passionate about bird protags in games. I hope you kept your enthusiasm over the years. ^^

Hey just wanted to say that I've been diggin your reviews so far, Jordan. Nice and in-depth. Good stuff. Keep it up! 😊
It's on sale right now! (in Europe at least).
Got it on sale! I like to play it in between other harder games when I’m completely stressed out.
I think this looks gorgeous. This seems to have slipped my radar. Once its on sale I will definitely buy it.
Out tomorrow, I believe! Let us know what you think =)

Bargain! =)
Thanks Jordan great review, I can live without a super deep story saved the world a few times this month all ready:)
Haha too right!
Nice review man. This is on sale right now so I'll definitely be picking it up.
It was cheap full price, what's the sale price? Hope you enjoy it as much as me! =)
It's down to £5.76 which is just ridiculous for a finished game that works, let alone something that looks this good.
Steal!
I'm enjoying it so much!
Is there a way to save progress in this game; play a different game and then come back to where you left off in Shu?
Can you save progress in this game? Or do you you have to beat it in one sitting?
Your game saves. =)
SwitchWatch Awesome. Thanks!
Looks cool
PLAYwithGregg it sure is 👍
Cant believe takes up 3gb!
That was a surprise to me too!
I'm getting it.😎
Let me know what you think! =)

Yes you are and thank you
Downgrade of Owlboy? O.o
Hisoka91 we shall see when we review Owlboy. I think though that you will probably be right.
