Thanks for putting the lists in the comments! It's REALLY nice to be able to browse the list while the video plays, most channels seem to avoid this in order to boost their metrics, so I appreciate it!
I've realized Regidrago's deck is, and will stay, on top of the game... at least before next year's rotation. It was hard for me to acknowledge at first, specially after last week's Sacramento regional; however, I can get it now, I can get the whole picture as of right now. Get well soon Zach, and I'm hoping to own that Charizard ex League Battle Deck before the year ends, or before it runs out of stock (at least where I come from, Chile)
@TheShuffleSquadTCG the meta diverse and very competitive. My first couple of months i tried my own deck, but now I'm between raging bolt/teal mask deck and the new Gholdengo ex Rainbow deck.
Started collecting with my 7 yo son a few months ago, bought and opened WAY to many SSP booster boxes but enjoyed the time spent cracking packs with him. Started learning the game on TCG Live so I could teach him and, I'll be honest, having never played a card game before, really enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all!
Koraidon makes the stall matchup easier as well as it's sometimes a better attacker into Miraidon than Slither Wing. The list you displayed is the most optimal I've seen in a while.
Just built a ceruledge deck, and absolutely love it. Got to the top of the ladder this month with terapagos and Charizard, and have since also built miraidon, and feel like ceruledge is seeing more success? It's also just really fun to play! Gotta watch that deck size and not get greedy though, I drew myself out of a couple matches needlessly early on!😅
Played a gholdengo deck, its good but i think its reguires a high skilled player to use because i out played them when they had me down cuz they would retreat the one i dmg when they should just let it die
Everyone is still sleeping on Hydrapple ex. Easily beats Roaring Moon, Lugia VStar, Charizard, and Regidrago at locals. Not gonna be phased by rotation at all. Builds fast and hits hard. Feel better, Zach.
As someone who is returning to the game since the PTCGO days, I was able to craft a Raging Bolt deck but I get hung up on energy. How are you supposed to use it with three types and when are you supposed to use which energy?
I just started getting into Pokemon TCG this week, does anyone have any recommendations on solid starting decks? I've been having alot of luck with the Chien Pao ex deck online, but my friends all tell me it's bad. Any advice is appreciated!
Bad matchup with drago.. didn't get much from surging sparks as well. Idk if im playing badly but have been losing to charizard's as well, plus the additional bravery charms on the raging bolts make them harder to kill/win against
@ I mean you gotta take what you can right, definitely not as good as Raikou V but it’ll work decently no? 0 retreat cost as well even though people run Latias id rather leave that slot open for like the new Budew instead
@@TheShuffleSquadTCG That's primarily because of its abysmal drago matchup though, right? There was a boatload of drago players and it was the most common pick for the top players, which would drown out the lz players. Doesn't mean it isn't top 10. Limitless even has it at 4th
@@iainharding4357 most decks lose to drago. It's a broken decks that slams most of the format besides maybe bolt. That's why it gets so many top 8 placements
Spoiler Alert!

It was hard for me to acknowledge at first, specially after last week's Sacramento regional; however, I can get it now, I can get the whole picture as of right now. Get well soon Zach, and I'm hoping to own that Charizard ex League Battle Deck before the year ends, or before it runs out of stock (at least where I come from, Chile)
thank you, and hope you get that Zard deck!
Hope you feel better Zack and thank you for the video .
I woke up feeling much better today, thank you! - Zach
Thanks for making these videos. I started taking the cups more serious and this helps me get an idea what's currently in format.
how are cups going for you?
@TheShuffleSquadTCG the meta diverse and very competitive. My first couple of months i tried my own deck, but now I'm between raging bolt/teal mask deck and the new Gholdengo ex Rainbow deck.
Started collecting with my 7 yo son a few months ago, bought and opened WAY to many SSP booster boxes but enjoyed the time spent cracking packs with him. Started learning the game on TCG Live so I could teach him and, I'll be honest, having never played a card game before, really enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all!
Don’t have a kid personally but I just started learning too and it’s pretty interesting
Glad you are enjoying it! Any time!
Lots of cool stuff to watch on this channel :D
were just getting into tcg and TCGP and thank you so much for this
glad you enjoy
I'm a big pokemon fan since early 2000, but never picked up the game until now. Thanks for the information
Welcome to the game!
Amazing list!
Koraidon makes the stall matchup easier as well as it's sometimes a better attacker into Miraidon than Slither Wing. The list you displayed is the most optimal I've seen in a while.
I didn't realize I wasn't subbed bro my bad ty for the vids keep up the good work and happy thxgivin!
I appreciate you checking! thanks so much
Just built a ceruledge deck, and absolutely love it. Got to the top of the ladder this month with terapagos and Charizard, and have since also built miraidon, and feel like ceruledge is seeing more success? It's also just really fun to play! Gotta watch that deck size and not get greedy though, I drew myself out of a couple matches needlessly early on!😅
Great to hear!
great video !
Glad you enjoyed it
I really want Archeledon ex to be better, I’m still working on the he build but I’m gonna be so hype when it gets some tops
probs a top 10 deck this week imo
Thanks for the vid
Any time!
Played a gholdengo deck, its good but i think its reguires a high skilled player to use because i out played them when they had me down cuz they would retreat the one i dmg when they should just let it die
it can for sure
Everyone is still sleeping on Hydrapple ex. Easily beats Roaring Moon, Lugia VStar, Charizard, and Regidrago at locals. Not gonna be phased by rotation at all. Builds fast and hits hard. Feel better, Zach.
How does this beat charizard i want to know haha
As someone who is returning to the game since the PTCGO days, I was able to craft a Raging Bolt deck but I get hung up on energy. How are you supposed to use it with three types and when are you supposed to use which energy?
you just use grass for TM Ogerpon, and L/F for Raging bolt. Welcome back
Thanks the update.
No problem 👍
hey quick question. my daughter wants to run an iron valiant EX. is there a good decklist out there? thanks in advance
we covered a baby bloodmon Ursaluna deck on the channel a few months ago
lost box?
not this week
I really miss the time when Giratina and Gardevoir were the meta 🫠
same tbh
I made top 32 at TSS Comment Section Regionals with Original Comment ex
yasssssssss
What about Dragapult? Is it beyond consistent compared to the other Decks?
Drago just does what it does but better and with more tools. It’s also got bad matchups into drago, miraidon, and bolt
might pop back into t10 this week
this is also kinda true
I just started getting into Pokemon TCG this week, does anyone have any recommendations on solid starting decks? I've been having alot of luck with the Chien Pao ex deck online, but my friends all tell me it's bad.
Any advice is appreciated!
This video is a great start
is ancient box still viable?
it is, not a top 10 deck
What happened to Dragapult?
Bad matchup with drago.. didn't get much from surging sparks as well. Idk if im playing badly but have been losing to charizard's as well, plus the additional bravery charms on the raging bolts make them harder to kill/win against
@ dang, I liked it as an alternative to Charizard
Dragos fine if you can get the ball rolling, really relies on good turn one hand
@ I really thought Crispin would do wonders for it
@ it did, you end up using it pretty often. The issue is turbo decks can squash your set up and get too far ahead
Miraidon!!
yassssssss
Buen video
ayyyyyy
Don’t add golden boy to the tier list I want people to keep sleeping on it 😂
ripppppp
Tapu KoKo to replace Raikou V
raikou hits for a lot with Area Zero
@ I mean you gotta take what you can right, definitely not as good as Raikou V but it’ll work decently no? 0 retreat cost as well even though people run Latias id rather leave that slot open for like the new Budew instead
You are not cooking😅
No lost zone?? Huh??????
only 1 in the top 64 at Sacramento, every other deck in the top 10 did better
kyurem
@@TheShuffleSquadTCG That's primarily because of its abysmal drago matchup though, right? There was a boatload of drago players and it was the most common pick for the top players, which would drown out the lz players. Doesn't mean it isn't top 10. Limitless even has it at 4th
@@Aegis128if it loses to drago it’s not top 10 tho
@@iainharding4357 most decks lose to drago. It's a broken decks that slams most of the format besides maybe bolt. That's why it gets so many top 8 placements
First
goated!
Get well soon ❤️🩹
feeling a lot better
