I freaking love that you just said your the quads parents not the other kids. It wasnt like that years ago. Im 56 now but i was taking care of my 2 sisters and brother since i was about 5 yrs old. I never had a life, close friends, i left the day i gratuated high school. I had so much to learn. I knew nothing about people. How to socialize. Zilch

I love when you said “we are their parents” i’m referring to the children having to parent the children the quads I think your brilliant because that way there the other children don’t get resentful they can just love on them so many families that have lots and lots of children tend to make the older children raise the younger children and I think that builds resentment and they miss out a lot on their childhood and for all the work you and your husband have to do bravo you doing a great job you guys are amazing,Because it would certainly be easier to let go with some of that responsibility you guys are just awesome

First thing I'd like to say is I love your beautiful family! Big families are a blessing, I'm curious what do you guys do for a living? I know me having five is costly especially with no government help. Which people assume people who have big families get foodstamps and we don't . My grocery bill is insane every week.

Wow viability where you are is only 24 weeks! I live in KC and we have a hospital here where viability is 22 weeks and there was a baby born at 21 weeks 5 days and she’s actually my friends daughter she is 3 now

Your state let you foster 4 kids (siblings) at once as new foster parents with no biological children? Here in the uk it is rare for your first foster placement to be more than 1 when you you have no previous foster experience.

I hear a baby crying and really mad. That's how they learn trust. Dad finally took charge... loved that. No offense at all. Many men are now more hands on...love seeing that.

They thought they were temporary when they came as foster kids. Now that they are adopted it's not temporary

Why did u pick elliot from the NICU?
We received a call shortly after fostering her older siblings that she needed a placement as well. And to keep all of the siblings together, we said YES! She was on the NICU at that time.
