Love riding a loping halter, just to get outta my horses mouths' They appreciate it and makes them softer. Takes a little work and patience but way worth it. you guys sure can cowboy and the horses respect you for it and love the work Great job thanks.
Beautiful riding. Beautiful horses. And here's to my own horse, Penny who can hardly hold it together when we ride out but no longer explodes when she is cinched up.
Nothing as fine as a man and his horse in perfect union. Man I sure miss the 60's in New Mexico in the open dessert on my buckhair mare riding till the sun set and back the next day. Pop a rabbit with my 22 for supper out there. Always take horse's dear hunting at Dog Canyon up by Reodoso. Temp die the horse's with red stripes to keep from getting shot. What a wonderful youth. I feel so blessed. Thank y'all. Good little flick.
Good morning 3:10 ranch very good tribute to all your horses !!! but for nothing in the world if that horse was mine for nothing would change to MISS KITTY. years ago I had a palomino like her. and it was amaizing.
They sure seem to love their job( the horses). I'm sure the guys do too. I noticed the horses learn to follow that cow perfectly w/o being directed by the reins . Pretty awsome.
Awesome horses! I often get ribbed a little in my part of the country on the use of long ropes and a slick horn... Like Bill Dorrance said in Joe Wolters "There's Roping to do" a standing shot is a good shot... But when you do have to go after one the horse puts you right there... The long ropes are for after the catch... I point them to your channel, always come back with their hat in their hand.... ☝👍
I am a fair horseman. I have experienced the 'one mind'. I want to become a great horseman. Could you please let me know when you put together videos showing the process you go through to get your horses to such a high level of mutual trust and respect? Thanks
Ok cattlemen. See..............you don't need a big long shank spade bit to get the job done. You think you have horsemanship skills?..................Watch this video and you will see what is possible.
How fun would that be 😮❗Those beautiful horses know exactly what to do...awesome 💯
I came back to revisit this video. It's very enjoyable. You gotta love those mares!
...and a redhead no less!

Excellent comment. Profound.
My first horse was a cutting horse. She was unbeatable in pole bending, then she learned to jump and put her heart in to all work. She lived to be 42.

A step in the right direction.

A true thing of beauty to watch horse & rider working as "one!"
One mind. That's the goal.

A halter can be worse than a bit in the wrong hands though
@@David-hj8nq Then don't have the wrong hands.
