Awesome bike, but tough to ride with those flared chain stays. Had one in chrome, it was a cool bike. Axle pegs came in and wiped out all the frame, and fork, platforms.

Great looking bike man. I had an 87 at one point too, but the 86 was always my favorite too. I've now got the dmc reissue.

I remember the back end on it was heavy, I don't remember which one I had? But it was with black..I bought it the summer of 87, it could have been 86?
I believe there was a black option on the 87 and 88. Don’t think 86 had a factory black color way
