I used a discarded bought for next to nothing a forklift battery bank that's been converted from 36 volts to 12 volts by removing several dead cels and restrapping.

Very cool! I’ve considered building int something bigger than the 1500X for a more permanent back up system.
I do like the portability this offers though.
I need to look into what it’d cost to build a proper power wall. Could be a fun project

@@gearsNtools That's a reason why I cannot do something more modern and compact, I am retired, live in rural Alaska but I have plenty of access to heavy equipment being a mechanic and have bought lots of battery powered equipment like forklifts and floor scrubbers, they are discarded for minimal reasons. And are salvageable.
