Yamaha Giant E-bike locknut remover

The locknut remover will be applied for assembling and disassembling of Yamaha E-bike motor lock nuts. To make sure, that the required torque forces will be transferred safely, the tool will be fixed in the motor axle by its integrated guide and connected with the lock nut by pull-push mechanism. This way the tool can perform high torque during loosening or tightening of the lock nut, guaranteed without slip-off.
The tool can be used along with snap.in tool holder (art. 7202750) or combination wrench 32 mm. During tightening, pay attention to the manufacturer's recommended torque. To check the torque moment, use 3/8" torque wrench (art. 720115).

Is this a freewheel crank ?

This tool seems overly complicated & not needed. Just order a simple Park Tool BBT-18

Disagree. I have tried and the chain ring just spins, this is required to hold the crank from my understanding

Don’t buy this system. It is manufactured by Yamaha and they suck if you have a problem. Only buy an ebike with the Bosch system.
