But what about the sponsors that you do that have truly no relevance to YOU? You sponsored glasses when you don't even need them, and we've never seen any of the pairs again. You sponsored Fit Tea, and you've mentioned it maybe once since- and order a tea every day from Tim's. You've sponsored clothing from websites that your subscribers have commented on saying that they never received their order/ the website was really shady, and you've rarely worn any of the stuff from those hauls again. I get that we "don't see every minute of your life", but since up until recently you were posting on both channels every single day, it would stand to reason that if you really found use for these sponsored items, they would show up. Your subscribers have asked for videos such as the shower routine for years, and you never did it until all of a sudden there was a shower product that wanted you to feature them in a video so it made sense to do. It definitely doesn't seem coincidental. And it's hardly about the sponsorships, its the quality of the video you put them in. You really just do not put effort into the sponsored videos. I'm sorry, but you don't. So it comes across like those videos are for a quick buck rather than actually benefiting your viewers. Your viewers come here for hauls, makeup tutorials (which you hardly ever do), and other videos; not for videos featuring dragon apps or teas that you don't truly drink. I get it, you make money off of UA-cam, and honestly I hardly mind sponsored videos-IF the sponsor is truly relevant to the person's channel that I am watching. You need to stop turning a blind eye to what the majority of your viewers are saying. You play off UA-cam comments as just being all hate, but a lot of it is truly constructive criticism that would benefit you and your channel a lot. Come on Sam, your viewers from day one are saying that your channel is a mess now and you need to hear them.

I did watch the whole thing. Yes she said that she does it to cater to a large audience or whatever, but if a product doesn't have relevance to the UA-camr themselves then how can it truly be genuine? There are plenty of ways to cater to her entire audience that don't involve shitty sponsors, every other guru has been able to figure it out. That's the point I'm making. And besides, she doesn't address the comments saying that the sponsors she puts in videos are crap, or that people in the comments of the videos themselves are saying they don't like them. She's only focusing on Twitter. So maybe you didn't read and "clearly" understand my comment.

You seem to be confused about why people hate your sponsored videos, it's because your "reviews" seem not genuine....you always claim to love love everything and claim that you used that product/app before making your video..when in reality you just got the product or app. People don't trust your opinions anymore because you seem to randomly shill for really weird random stuff, like be honest some of those ridiculous game apps are just lame as was your use of that flex belt you used literally once and never used again

This happens all the time, you may use a product for a while and really like it. Then one day you just don't need to use it, don't like it, health reasons, etc. People don't understand that she probably uses these products outside of the camera view. Why would you record yourself using every product/app sponsored to you (all the time, 24/7), especially since she probably uses them a lot. And maybe she likes to try random products every now and then, that doesn't mean she does it for the money. She could genuinely like them, including those apps you called "lame". She may actually really like those games/apps. I can see that you don't understand that

For the most part, sponsored videos don't bug me. What bugs me are the sponsored videos of apps youtubers clearly just used for an hour before posting the video, opinion post because it does not work and is a scam, and youtubers who get items and act like they are awesome, but you can clearly tell in the video how awful they are.
exactly what i said especially opinion outpost that is such a scam all it does it blow up your emails and only get the most $1.00 a month for the shit surveys so instead of helping us like she said it really doesn't help us but annoy us if you sign up for it.
And the fact that opinion outpost has it so you full out like a 2 min survey only for them to say you don't qualify. Such a waste of time.

In my opinion, when I see that something is sponsored, it feels less genuine. I'm being honest. For example the Pure Romance is fine, but when there are multiple products that are all pure romance you are raving about (you do get a bit commercial sounding) and saying you use, it starts to seem unrealistic. I start to think "wait, I thought she used ____ body wash.. Now she's saying this is the best.." Or whatever (this is an example I don't stalk you enough to say this is the case). And obviously people change products. Anyways, you start to wonder... Is it genuine?
And the dorm stuff... Ok maybe people ask where you get YOUR bedding, but not where did you get this bedding we've never seen before that you are just NOW unboxing.
Also when we see several sponsored videos it seems less and less genuine because who else lives in a house that's sponsored top to bottom? (Ok I'm Exaggerating).
We can start to feel used also.. Like you are making a commercial for us.

Not trying to start a fight but how do you know if she is using it again? Like if she likes another body wash before and then another company asks "Do you want to try this out?" And she says she does, she uses it, and loves it, then she is going to give an honest opinion. She said she does not do it for the money, and she even said one video she did not like something that she was being sponsored she gave her honest opinion. She gets sponsored so much, and she only accepts the things that are good for her, and could help her and her viewers. She loves to try new things, and said that if she did not like it later she will let you know. You also said that she reviewed glasses when she does not need them but if her viewers do, then they can buy it. She does not do it to get money, she does it so her viewers can get lots of cool things. Did you watch the video??? Plus she said that she is under a contract and if something sucks then she will ask the sponsor if they want her to upload

Also, who gives a shit if she really doesn't like the product. Someone out there watching her videos might LOVE that particular product. As long as she's honest about it, what's the problem? Example: she loves that kat Von d liquid lip, I hate it. It drys my lips out so bad I can't use the shit. Products work differently on different people. Cosmetics vary based on your ph balance, skin texture. Just because someone says a product is great for them it doesn't mean it will be for you too.

also the only thing i really hate about sponsorships is those stupid games that you can tell that some UA-camrs only downloaded a little bit before the video is posted & we can tell when they are fake and lying about the game. also you were sponsored by opinion outpost becuase that is such a damn scam site that does nothing but blow up your emails and only get .25 cents like a month and everyone (non youtuber or not sponsored by it) says the same thing as well as those crappy Chinese clothing sites that are the biggest scam of all and the clothes are stolen designs and crappy ass clothes.

I think people's issues are that they don't believe anything unless they see it in a video. They need to learn that just because it doesn't happen in the video, doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all.

I actually like sponsored videos like you discover a new product thanks to sams sponsored video (glasses USA one) I needed glasses so I immediately thought of that vid the guy was trying to sell me glasses that I didn't want and they where $385 I DIDNT EVEN LIKE THEM but the video had the glasses I loved so I went to the website AND I GOT THE ONES I LOVED FOR $73 !!!!!!!!!! Sponsored videos just don't seem genuine. The whole point of being on UA-cam is to be your genuine self, find products on your own, and form an opinion on it without dollar signs behind it. For me it's the fact that the videos often come off as fake. Like a favorites video where everything gets maybe 10 seconds of screen time and then suddenly "LOOK AT THIS RANDOM PRODUCT THAT'S THE BEST THING EVER THAT I'M GOING TO SPEND 5 STRAIGHT MINUTES TALKING ABOUT AND THEN NEVER MENTION IT AGAIN" and then back to everything else getting 10 seconds. You see how that can be irritating? People act like a product is the greatest thing since sliced bread when they are getting paid to talk about it , and then after it conveniently fades into nonexistence. I don't know, this is just how I feel about them. In my opinion, a sponsored video shouldn't feel any different from any other video.

I think a big problem that people have with sponsored videos is that we never know if the person truly likes the product. There are some youtubers that promote awful products and tell their subcribers to go buy them. People don't want to be tricked into buying something that isn't good. I'm not saying that you are one of those UA-camrs but it's hard to tell if someone is being genuine when they say that they love a product that sponsored them.

It's the fact that you did all these sponsored videos in a row that made people upset. Spread those sponsorship videos out and when they are sponsored say that in the very beginning of the video!

UA-cam is her only source of income. If you were being offered thousands of dollars to quickly mention a product, wouldn't you try to do so as often as possible?

what i see and feel about this is, The people who are getting angry for you being sponsored are not necessarily jealous but are pissy about it because they feel entitlement to the same thing you are receiving But without doing any of the hard work or partnership to receive these perks or benefits. People are always going to hate they have nothing better to do but to tear down others to make themselves feel better. I've always loved your videos. I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with being sponsored. You are kind hearted, honest and beautiful. Everything you say or do comes from the heart. That's another thing that I love so much about you is your honesty. Whatever the topic is or whatever the product is, you're always 110% honest. If you love a product you'll tell us, if you didn't like the product so much you'll be honest with us & let us know. That's why I don't care that much when you do sponsored videos because I look forward to the next video every time you post something but some channels that are asked to do a sponsored video are completely fake about it & THAT'S what I hate & THAT'S what's so annoying about it. I've never once watched one of your videos--from the day I subscribed until now-- & thought to myself " Wow she's being so fake, I dont want to watch this video anymore. I'm unsubscribing" Like I said I look forward to your next video each & every time you post one & I always will.

Because if you paid your own money for it, we feel it's an honest review. If it's sponsored most people feel it might not be an honest review because usually the person is paid to say something positive about the product and has agreed to do that before even receiving it and trying it out. Not everyone is as just as you choosing sponsorships but I understand on the other hand smaller youtubers flat out needing money and accepting sponsorships for that.

the only thing i get annoyed with is when every video or instagram post is sponsored, and the first 10 minutes of the video is about the app or product. or when they're clearly lying about the product haha.
