This week is a little different, after the long sailing we just went through the last couple weeks, we are having a little change of scenery. We explore Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic and go on a waterfall excursion. Hope you enjoy the episode and all the goofiness!

18:54 Seriously the cutest sailing channel on the planet. ; ) Btw, tamarind is the secret ingredient in Pad Thai. If you get tamarind concentrate, you process it to remove any seeds or shells, and then the smooth paste/sauce is left over and you can add it to your sauce (fish sauce, palm sugar, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, and a little chicken stock, shallots and garlic).
Yummm will have to try that some time!!

The last trip we took before Covid was a cruise to the Dominican and we went down these falls New Years Day 2020. Clearly it was the best part of the past 2 years now. Love seeing this video now as it takes me back. I want to go back.
The RD is our favorite vacation place. We are land lubbers and stay at the Palace Deluxe in Punta Cana and it's our favorite place on earth! Thanks for showing us your experience. Have fun girls!

Looks like a nice place to go hang out for awhile and chill! Glad you two got some supplies laid in on the boat.
Grinds at Flip Flops look pretty good, from chicken burgers to whole cooked fish........Sascha did not appear to like the fish brain too well, judging from the look on her face! The grinds on the boat appeared to be better that night, and both you ladies look just as great dressed up! Got it goin' on there!👍
The waterfall excursion looked like a good time, cacao beans, tamarind and mango to sample too. Good swim down the small canyon to waterfall jump & natural water slides, what a blast that looks like!
