The 1991 Christmas movie is one of those you remember for all the wrong reasons. The animation is laughable, with horribly drawn characters. The voice acting is awful. Plot points yearn to be, well, clarified. The pace of the film is excruciatingly slow. No wonder The Christmas Tree has become known as one of the worst holiday films ever, earning it a cult following. The story revolves around an orphanage where children endure a miserable life due to a heartless manager who embezzles all the money. The Christmas Tree was a TV movie. It aired on the USA Network.
