Tonight we will be observing Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement -
a holy day set by our Holy God,
a day to remember the Atonement made for us by Yeshua, the lamb of God,
to reconcile us to our Father in heaven. A day to reflect, reset and fix our hearts on Him.

On the other hand, according to R. Ovadia a Jew is allowed to pray in a mosque. He cites many authorities who allow this, but his main source to rely on is the Rambam [Maimonides].
He writes in the end of his responsa Yabia Omer Volume 7 Yoreh Deah #12:

13 I will teach transgressors the ways that lead to thee, and sinners shall return to thee again. 14 O LORD God, my deliverer, save me from bloodshed [Or from punishment by death], and I will sing the praises of thy justice. 15 Open my lips, O Lord, that my mouth may proclaim thy praise. 16 Thou hast no delight in sacrifice; if I brought thee an offering, thou wouldst not accept it. 17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a wounded heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Let it be thy pleasure to do good to Zion, to build anew the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then only shalt thou delight in the appointed sacrifices; then shall young bulls be offered on thy altar.
I see no merit in your changing of scripture, but who am I to judge you? But here is the scripture, the original that is used in the song.

Just as the sacrifice was made by the high priest in the Holy of Holies each year on Yom Kippur in the old days Jesus however being our perfect High Priest shed His blood to make atonement for sin once and for all and sat down at the right hand of the Father. His mercies endures forever so let us ask for His mercy and in like manner be merciful to others
