Happy Feast Of Tabernacles! Sukkot is one of God's appointed times, where we remember the faithfulness of the Lord to Israel. As messianic Jews, the feast also reminds us of Yeshua our Messiah, who came to tabernacle with us 2000 years ago.
RESTING PLACE, based on Isaiah 66:1, is a powerful deep worship song of longing for God to tabernacle with us, to dwell and to rest in our hearts.
Written by Daphne Rademaker, we've translated this song into Hebrew so we can call on Yeshua together in this Sukkot, to come and take His place in our hearts!

Listening to these songs, moves me deeply. There was a time, when i felt so guilty, a traitor. I thought believing in Yeshua meant, i was no longer a Jew. I felt as if i was the only Jew in the world that believed the message of The Holy One. I trying to explain to G-D. I couldn't stop being a Jew, i believed in Yeshua, but if it meant not being Jew anymore, take my life. Then the Lord spoke to me in a very vivid dream. Now 40 years later, i can still remember it. Within days, i found myself walking into a Messianic congregation. It was there i learned, that same Savior the gentiles call Jesus. Jews call Ha Messiach !
To any Jew that finds themselves where I did. Know this, G-D does not change. Moses asked to see G-D's face, G-D explained, no man can look upon G-D and live.
Move forward to Joshua on hill before the battle of Jericho. There, A MAN, whom Joshua looked upon and spoke with face to face. That MAN told Joshua to remove his shoes. Where he stood was holy. Joshua worshipped him!! Joshua went on the win the battle. Angels are never to be worshipped. Who was that MAN with a sword, who identified himself as Captain of the Armies of the Lord! It was Yeshua! Who was that Moses then describe as G-D, face to face? Yeshua!!

I came to saving faith in Yeshua in 1989 and worshiped, loved, served, testified and studied the Word for decades but felt someting still missing until June 2021 when I walked into a Messianic Congregation in Southern California and it has felt like I'm home. I'm thankful for the Christian church and hold all my learning experiences dear to my heart and still attend from time to time when a friend invites. I love Pastor Jack Hibbs church in Chino Hills but my home Messianic fellowship is in Orange. I get the best of both. All glory to G-d. Shalom brethren!
This is awesome. My mother (Daphne) wrote this song in 1989 (not Brian Doerksen, FYI). She has been learning about the Hebraic bible and language which has become such a huge part of her life. She messaged me, completely moved to tears for this Hebrew version of it. Thank you for the amazing rendition!
First time I heard it sung was with David Ruis. Daphine sounds familiar to me, had she ever sung in Lakemount, Grimsby Ont? Anyway, love this song. Timeless and beautiful, love to hear it sung in Hebrew.

Wow, this is my first time ever thinking that God might sound like this, so gentle, in a way, y'know? (Hard to explain what I'm trying to convey) But it's my first time hearing his "voice" in this way, so to speak, since some of these verses are in first person. This song has impacted my heart far more than any other this past year(since Sukkot 2021), stirs up deeeeeeep longing & hunger. I usually don't listen to a song over & over cuz I get tired of the same thing.....not this one, the tears flow every time
I listened to this song and worshipped after my 5th brain surgery when I had to sell my property because I could no longer walk the stairs and take care of it. Me and my son (7) both sang this song as if Lord have already found home for us. And he did!✝️🙌 It was such a blessing with my health condition. It was temporary and next year we need to move out but I believe the Lord will bless us with permanent home where we can dwell until we see him again! We sing this song as we pray! Glory to Jesus✝️

Man, this song is so beautiful. The lord has laid heavy on my heart , America's music industry. He's told me that it's exactly the same principality as slavery. If it's not giving glory to God then it's not from him. These poor people get promised money and fame and then get their lives snuffed out prematurily and it breaks my heart.
