Hi Alex, personally my favorite town specially due to the Expert Clone + Archangels combo. I love using Adelaide as my starting hero due to her Advanced Wisdom and been able to personalize her with other skills.

Castle is slightly powered town. Units is very good, building cost is good and spell is good tends toward Water Magic. For me, Castle town starting adventure what i like about compared to underground towns or with terrain penalty. Conflux is a strongest town - very good heroes, units, spells but only high building cost
Sure, vamp lords are op. But actually in a 1v1 fight crusaders beat them. Notice I said that crusaders are the "strongest" tier 4 unit, not the "best".

I’m more of a casual (large map vs computer on impossible difficulty) player, but the characteristics of Castle stay the same. You need to get lucky with a good main hero. Then you can unleash the beast!
I dont really get the external building thing? If you have a portal on castle why does it grow your stacks but if you have a cave on dungeon why it doesnt??
So the way it works is for each external portal of glory that you flagged, your growth of angels in town will increase by 1 (provided that you build the portal of glory in your town). It's the same thing for dungeon, but the problem is that it is pretty much impossible to build dragons as dungeon by the end of week 1. You have to skip the troglodyte upgrade, and the portal of summoning, and then you're able to build them on day 7, but skipping the POS already means that you'll have 1 less dragon, and usually its much better to have 2 dragons on turn 2 (assuming you flagged a dragon cave on day 1), than to have 5 dragons on week 2 day 1. With castle, you can build angels by day 5, and while they are expensive, the build is much more viable, and it's much more common to see a castle player build them.

@@alex_the_magician9483 well yea basically, I know you're videos are more advanced stuff, but when I search for heroes 3 guides I either find Super advanced strats or noobs that don't know what they're talking about lmao. So yea, breaking down town, heroes and the world map, ressources and buildings, level ups and artifacts. I'm not very sure really, but I feel like it'd make it easier for an unknowing audience to get into the game..
@@yoannmarchesse988 new comers should play first Stronghold or Castle town. Stronghold has very cheap building cost (wood n stone most of it), cheap units, heroes stats mainly for might/attack. Basically Stronghold is pretty straightforward strat - pure offense. Once finish playing this, you will realize stronghold weakness as months go by
Crusaders are better in a 1v1 fight, but vamp lords have INSANE utility overall. There's a reason why vampire dwellings on Jebus Cross have the highest value out of any creature dwelling (even including portals of glory and dragon caves).
@@alex_the_magician9483 actually are Magi any good? Like how useful is the lowering of the manacost of things? If you have multiple 1 stacks of it does that reduce the manacost by more for each one?
@@ottomann4846 No, it doesn't reduce the mana cost by any more than 2, but it's still an ok ability. Not super amazing, but somewhat useful nonetheless.
It's when you stay in your biome (starting zone), and delay your break in favor of being stronger when you enter the desert, like by farming utopias in your biome and building Archangels.
@@alex_the_magician9483 So "breaking" means "getting out of your initial zone" in a multiplayer game - and specifically on JC templates? I've played HoMM3 for a long time, but only against the computer and only SoD (and briefly WoG), so this whole world of competitive play is very new to me; I suppose it will remain so.

Angels week 1, not archangels. Usually you won't build archangels until 121, or later.

Angels are nice and stuff but how do i defeat a stack of 7k skeleton warrions?
With 300 Angels XD, or magic.
why are not all the angles in one ? and why dont you have they other units?
I just used a cheat to reveal the map and also gave me archangel stacks, this was an overview, not a demonstration.
