does anyone have a good video about how to play the desert? I’ve been practicing and now i’m able to break somewhat early, like during week 2! but when I get into the desert I’m not sure what’s the strategy

Tier SS: Earth Magic, Wisdom*, Necromancy Tier S: Offence*, Wind Magic*, Logistic, Tactics, Tier A: Intelligence, Fire Magic, Armor, Archery*, Interference/Resistance Tier B: Pathfinder, Leadership, Diplomacy, Water Magic, Tier C: Luck, Sorcery, Navigation* Tier D: Balistic, Estate, Scouting, Mysticism, Scholar Tier F: Learning, Eagle Eye, First Aid, * Wisdom: Only if Town Portal are allowed in the game. Offence/Archery: Depends entirely on your team, (offence best late game, Archery early) Wind Magic: Depends if Dimension Door and Fly are allowed in the game. Navigation: Depends on how much water there is and if dimenision door, fly, water walk etc are allowed in the game.

I mostly played campaign and man, I enjoyed shiting on everyone and everything with Sandro even on the hardest difficulty (the one where you start with no resources).

(Like taking all gargolyes with you in tower and starting tavern hero was a conflux one since pixies good with speed of 7 problem will be of course: snow terrain penalty for non-native creatures)

"angel who's technically a robot" not once does heroes of might and magic state it shares the lore with the might and magic series. not in the manual, not in the game. nor does it claim angels to be robots anywhere in the game either. quite the opposite: if you look at the actual angel building, what is it? - exactly, it's a portal to heaven. they are just the regular biblical angels in heroes of might and magic, which is a strictly mythological medieval fantasy game, despite of sharing common names and characters with might and magic series. ""With their great offensive and defensive power and flying ability, angels and archangels are among the mightiest creatures in the game. Both do 150% damage when attacking devils. Additionally, the archangel is able to resurrect dead allied troops once per combat." RoE manual.

why were you using stone skin first over shield in the first two fights? you were expecting 1 to 0 ranged attacks versus many melee attacks so shield should have been the obvious choice for both fights. ps. another cool spell trick is to berserk the topmost stack(s if you have higher fire magic obviously) and close the bottom ranged stacks first when you can't close them all at once, so that the first top stack will hit the second top stack, killing off units from it before it can shoot (more effective than just blinding one stack if you are expecting multiple ranged hits), meanwhile you work your way through the bottom stacks. when closing towards the berserked stack, just be sure to hide your own stacks on the opposite side of the closest unit to it so they will do friendly fire.

Very useful poor manning tip is to PM artifact carriers (a low value hero to whom you trade your main hero's junk artifacts) around the map to dispense the valuables to your side heroes from your main and to PM the junk artifacts to a town with the artifact merchant. the thing is meanwhile retreating will lose you all your army, there's no limit on how many artifacts the retreating hero can retain, meaning that you can literally deliver full inventory of junk artifacts into a merchant for the hero recruitment cost and net like 150k in a single turn meanwhile also safely freeing all the space from your mains inventory. another very useful late game poor manning tip is that you can also retreat from enemy tier 5-7 dwelling fights, meaning you don't actually need a wandering monsters to be around for the PM.

Expert Tactics is essential for starting a new game.

Earth Magic is absolutely a powerhouse. Usually, I prefer to level up with only 1 school of magic per each hero, and I always picked Earth or Air. Water and Fire magic were considered too underwhelming to spend your hero’s slots for.

Full consumables or no consumables. It dosnt change anything. Unless the warrior and priest is complete trash, itll never even be a fight. Like honestly, that warlock will be too busy trying to survive that warrior, let alone trying to outdps the warrior with only being able to use his instant cast abilities (dots), while the warrior is hitting on cloth, and keeps his MS effect up... Its such a no brainer. If you debate this, you either dont know pvp or you dont know classic well enough

Out of Context Question Why i cant upgrade my units that i bought not from its castle? I buy devil from forsaken place(not inside its castle) when i bring it to the castle which has upg. Forsaken place i cant upgrade my devil into arch devil

Inferno is not that weak but you have to play a lot with magic mostly fire magic + artifacts rather then strong troops and I don't play MP at all, so maybe PVP they are weak.

47 ogre! Hat fight was impressive!! I just came back after 20+years to my homm3 hype. Much I got to learn. I’m still not into have more then 2-3 heroes at once and I suck in duells or scared to attack some packs I should win even without strategy of kiting etc lol

6minutes in the video only but "holy cow" so much heros to move, i remember i just play super relaxed, stacking ALL units on 1 hero and go for the win and had maybe 1-2 1unit twinks to scout a bit lol

Why specifically the Necro/Dungeon/Fortress tier 1 specialists? What about the rest of the tier 1 specialists? Are they too slow or not enough in numbers from the specialist hero even when they are upgraded?

i started out playing necros cause i like playing the undead.... boy did i get my ass beat. played mroe games and i was finally able to learn how to get the doom stack of skeletons just to get my ass beat yet again man those players who been playing for years DID NOT PLAY at all when they saw a necro player (even though i said i was new to the game they beat the absolute dog out of me)
