#edifier #qr65 #speakers - Наука та технологія
Sorry about all this targeted spam, its a constant battle - please report all you see. Let us know if you like the speakers !
You would think UA-cam would have A.I. automatically handling all this...maybe they're the ones doing it lol
For me, $500 + Shipping and Taxes... No Thanks My Old Mirage Speakers And Sub are just fine
Edifer are briliant. had my speakers for years now, and leave them on 24/7, still work perfectly. *goes to check they are still working now
Bet they are broken now you
Said all that 😀
These guys have some nice speaker designs really like these.
Really good speakers. I’ve seen some comments with people saying they look gaudy but I don’t agree. Edifier make a lot of wooden classic style speakers so this is just a different look for them. Works well. Drivers seem good as I’d expect.
Edifier have great products for reasonable price. I recently got a deal on S1000 MK II bookshelf speakers for 210 USD. It was a huge upgrade from the R1280T i had for a while. Can't even compare the too, it sounds amazing.
you guys are the best review channel. Love your reviews
Thanks! We're glad you enjoy them!
Still using my Edifier S300D for last 12 years on my Audiotrak Prodigy Cube dac. Also using R1280DB on my TV to watch movies with.
I used Edifier bookshelf speakers as part of my turntable setup before upgrading that entire system. I now use them as my desktop speakers for my PC. They've always sounded incredible and I feel I appreciate them even more now that they are part of my PC setup.
Which speakers ?
Which ones I want to know now you find them
Awesome review! You guys do the best review 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much!
I used to think this company was hyped a bit but they are quality speakers. Not the cheapest but good quality.
Quality speakers. Had mine for years.
Really good quality products. They have good support on Amazon too
These guys do really good products - great review of these too, liked the sound tests - I know they dont seem to make a lot of sense, but I do get a rough idea of the sound through my sennheiser headphones.
Thanks. It's always a bit tough showcasing how audio products perform due to UA-cam compression and people listening/watching on a variety of devices etc
great video Mat!
Thanks
Really like that 3d effect. Very cool
It’s pretty cool
great video any idea why in my connect app I don't have the option for the "HD audio codec" ?
They seem to score well on Amazon reviews too.
Edifier is coming a long way and I remember the first speakers I had for my PC was one of theirs. Man, they were crappy Chinese piece of plastic but looked so cool.
really good speakers and not too expensive from Edifier
Im still using my old bose soundlink v2 but shes dying on me :c looking to grab new speakers for my computer and man its so hard since most cost a fortune and some people suggest a soundbar and some people say soundbars are terrible. Some say get speakers but then they list all this equipment you need for speakers to sound good and it gets confusing.
For metal/bass heavy edm music(hardstyle etc) i think the bose sounds good but i have nothing to compare it to, if you happen to know, are these better? And if they need a subwoofer for proper bass instead how much extra cost does that add. Final question, the wattage for sound, is that how much power it uses to run? Upgrading my office and debating if i need to add a 2nd circuit
Nice Elgato mic. And afcourse that amazing Corsair's table😊
Great brand I'm sure these speakers are great.
Good quality speakers really make a difference to a gaming system.
I use two speakers studio and focus rite Scarlett mixer. But cause I do music 😂.
Edifier speakers looks beautiful.
Think these would look better in black they are very deep!
Hard to tell what they sound like are there any shops that sell them?
as an ex-producer of music for an electronic psy trance / hard house label these are of particular interest. I'd love to know how they are for this use case although I have to say I am not a fan of lighting used in speakers as I'd rather have the focus put on the sound quality
Using the S350db for few years now. Still impressive how good the sound is. Paired with the Creative G6 and the accurate Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro for late night. I’m more into accurate sound than raw distorted power like the plasticky Logitech and similars.
Yeah my brother has them too, really impressed with the sound too. agree on the plasticky logitech stuff too
Good speakers. I moved from Logitech.
You are testing sound quality with spotify?
if we talk about pure sound quality, I am dubiously wondering how these would compete against iloud micros which are lot cheaper.
Maybe using diamond coating can make the high frequency sound more pleasant, but when you noted it can achieve 99% of this sound quality in 1/10 or even 1/100 of the price. Is it worth it.
Compare them against the Audioengine or Kanto.
Hmm. At this pricepoint a digital input (Coax or SPDIF) is missing. Only analog Line-in, Wireless and USB? RGB on a speaker? Thanks for the review.
Rgb on everything now !
Yeah bit annoying especially since its got the electronics in there for wireless or USB. Optical or Coax would have extended their use beyond a PC.
If you want powered speakers, you really can't go wrong with Edifier.
wonder how these compare to trhe audioengine A2+. I've had my eye on those for a while...
A2 is $100 cheaper and a couple inches smaller. Maybe a little better for a more space conscious setup? Woofers are the same size, but tweeters are smaller at .75" vs 1.25" and 10w less total power. Wonder how this impacts overall sound quality.
Ninja Pro gaming chair, whatever next. On topic, nice speakers and as it happens I'm looking and have been for a month.
tempo abyss technology, someone in ASIA had a ball coming up with that one !
😵💫
Commonly known as "infinity mirror".
Wish these were smaller, at 21cm on my desk feels huge.
What is that device on the desk next to the stream deck with the display?
It's a Wigidash from Gskill. Review coming soon 👍🏻
After trying G2000 and falling in lovr with edifier sound (music eq) ive started day dreaming about this, only things its missing is optical connection for true 24bit / 96khz more tjen 1/2mb transfer rate once Ldac is outaded and replaced by a newer codec that can handle true High res without capping it at 990 kbps like ldac does. I cant stop dreaming about this speaker only thing im worried about is the bass / if its punchy as it doesnnt have dynamic or music preset and im not sure of monitor and classic eq will suffice for edm/trance music but low volume usage sounds ideal fo4 late night use. Amaizing review
Thanks! They're still sitting on my desk and I've been using them constantly since they arrived and since the review and I've found the bass to be 'enough' - It's nothing ground shaking but it gets the job done and is enough for my day to day use. - Mat
Thank you Matt - would love to know how they compare up againts G2000 since you also reviewed those a while back - better bass / more punchier bass even at low/moderate volumes compared to g2000?
what is that stand behind your monitor with speaker shelvess etc
It's part of the Corsair Platform 6 desk
Wow❤
Interesting!
Glad you think so!
I can't choose about s1000w and qr65. in your opinion what is better?
Go with ldac ones. And they look spectacular.
Edifier s3000 pro..
I just bought these, they look and sound great but it seems like the bottom driver is doing all the work and the top speaker doesn't do anything? I don't feel it moving at all. Anyone else seeing this or does the top driver just not do too much?
Top driver doesn’t really handle the bass frequencies which causes the bottom one to vibrate at higher volumes. How does it sound to you ? Vocals clear ?
@@KitGuruTech Right I get you, only recently started looking at upgrading my sound system hence this purchase and the stupid question. Yeah vocal's are clear. Playing games with them sound great. Overall really happy with them!
Wish thy make good 5.1 pc speakers systeem. Are not many any more :(
I love my old edifier r2000db
Can these be paired with another pair to create 4.0 surround?
Look for Edifier S760DB, if you liked your R2000DB.
Looks nice but I doubt these sound $300 better than the Edifier G2000. Especially in a near field environment.
£329.99 - not cheap but clearly doing a good job. which I would expect from Edifier now to be perfectly honest.
These look fantastic but they are very expensive for what are still effective just pc speakers. Not monitors.
Bit over the top gamey for me but I dont think I'm their target audience. I prefer speakers with a bit of fake or real wood finish on the sides.
Yeah but this lets you show off an ultimate gaming setup. Think these are the finishing touch.
They should've launched them on the other owned brand, Hecate; would fit right into the lineup.
The price makes no sense for desktop PC speakers. Sure, you can buy quality studio grade monitors. So get some?
But in most cases you need just "good enough". Not flawless. 15 or so years ago I randomly bought a few budget PC speakers looking for something usable. And eventually by pure accident I got AG Neovo ones for less than 30EUR which happened to be surprisingly good for the price. Close to "JBL quality" in that market. They are a bit sensitive to human capacity, get easily excited, but as long as your hands are 20+cm from them they are fine. And the price? Still using them. RGB, wtf...
"JBL quality" isn't the compliment you think it is...
@@BarbuMateescu back then JBL was around 100EUR. While serving roughly the same market. So I put them in the same category there, right?
And I struggle to recall a moment in time when Edifier has been premium in audio. It has been in the market for 20+ years. And more like cheap entry wood desktop speakers. There's certain group of fans that consider speakers must be those wooden boxes. I get the vibe. But there certainly are other ways and it's a lot more about quality parts and materials. Maybe they have grown. But this is certainly not B&W or audiophile level.
I'm not questioning it being decent. I'm questioning whether 10x the price is also in the quality jump. Most gamers need "good enough" for PC. TV oriented soundbars are a decent option too and you probably already have some in your house next to TV.
Also, music is complicated. There are types of tweeters, that are stunning for string reproduction, like guitar. While some other will shine in other tasks. Some prefer clear articulated basses, while others scream for those reverbing old school party boxes that resonate with it. So much for compliments.
If Liberace was alive today, he'd have these speakers. They look gawdy AF.
Who the heck is Liberace ? 🤣
These are overkill when you sit like 1m away from the monitor
Not really. They perform well at low volumes too.
@@KitGuruTech Thats the point - you don`t need big speakers when you utilize 20% of their volume at max.
It's all about the quality of the sound they are putting out. Heavy duty will generally put out more accurate sounds at any volume. A lot of small speakers cheat by using a massive sub and are very notchy in their performance.
@@jamesjessenden7838 You can get G2000 Edifier which are cheaper. smaller. sound great, and you`ll utilize about 50% of their volume.
Bit pricey.
Hi-res audio certified... Shame my ears aren't.
lol 😜
that join in the material is unbearable
It’s not wonderful
Pc speakers are not only for gaming!!
very true !
Thanks. Now I don't want the Edifier.
What you going to get instead ?
Too many commercials. 13 minute video and I saw 6 total. Don’t enjoy this review due to constant interruption
It’s all free just don’t come back then. Or use the time stamps. These people need paid like anyone else.
Most of them are forced UA-cam ads. I saw 3 but I pay for premium. I like the ads here. All relevant and short. Not a 90 ad for NordVPN or some other crap.
over priced, just get something proper like m-audio bx8d3 and the cheapest audio interface and balanced cables which will be just a tiny bit more than these 330£ tiny speakers.
