I never comment as a rule, I just simply watch the videos for their face value, I enjoy the the scenery and other things of interest related to his camping, the explaining his new equipment, his projects etc. for what they are and that's it. All of these weird negative comments seem really odd to me, and way out of context for just a video about daily experiences in camping, I don't get it.

Russ Gee I agree to some degree, but I think in his case some of it needs to be addressed. Not over and over, but ignoring it can make some people buy into it. I think this video is a good idea, Who cares what the troll's reaction is?Why should he worry about feeding into them or not,, because nothing stops them, they are bullies. I am a recent subscriber. Coz I like your style man. You talk well: you seem able to make even the most mundane things...watchable. I wish I could do what you do. I would love to be living a "nomadic" life. I am getting kinda long in the tooth at almost 63, though. The reason I started watching this kind of stuff is that I would LOVE to do this when I retire - become a "grey nomad" as we call them here in Aus. To travel around my beautiful country and just live that dream. Maybe it will happen, maybe not. Meanwhile I can learn stuff from you and others who ARE living it, right now. So goodonya cobber. I see a sensitive, but mature young man who has been made wiser about certain aspects of human nature due to what he has gone through online. Johnson" - He did some sort of "our of context" mash up video of your comments over the last year and edited (poorly at that) to make it appear to be a factual history of you, and this goofy gossip rag magazine type video is his basis of the multitude of accusations and innuendo. I actually found myself laughing at his ingenuity to edit your words to fit into his ajenda....so at least the troll types and the very weird and strange people can give me a chuckle - so Eric at least they are worth some comedy? I have never seen another channel that puts you down. If I ever come across a video that does I will surely not subscribe to that person. There's enough negativity in the world that I don't need to subscribe to more. I watch because I'm interested in how the nomadic lifestyle works. I have seen videos from someone that will park their van in an affluent neighborhood and sleep there and get annoyed when a cop shows up to tell them to leave then post a video about how cops do nothing but harass people. You never do that. You are a positive soul and I applaud you. Then there are the people who watch you just to make negative comments about you and your audience. I'm thinking about doing this at age 47 after being married 20 years. Keep it up man! I love the personal angle to your channel. I love how it can be inconsistent and emotional sometimes, because its a personal channel. I think that's why the trolls target you. They see someone being genuine to their emotions and their present state of mind and they love poking holes in it. Greetings Eric, I've been following you for some time and this is my first post. I have found your videos to be very helpful and informative. I will be following your path soon. Am going to break loose from corporate America, the house, pool and all the possessions. My decision to do so was inspired by you. Am shopping for the perfect RV now. I have an idea of what I want. Planning on a travel Trailer as I have the perfect tow vehicle already. I've already purchased a 1kw solar set up for my RV. Just wish I had done it when I was younger. Unfortunately, I was brain washed by society. We are all taught from day one to go to college, get an education, buy a big house and fill it with things. My children are grown, kicked the cheating wife to the curb and I'm free to go. It's very disturbing to me that there are so many trolls and haters out there that have made it their mission to attack you. I know these types, they are evil jealous people that aren't happy. Since they aren't happy, they want everyone else to be just as miserable as them. I've seen it over and over. Then there are the crazies that will just make stuff to try and make others suffer. I think you are taking the correct stance and just letting it go. As long as you try to defend yourself against the crazies & trolls, they will never let up. They are like rabid dogs. I think this video is a good idea, Who cares what the troll's reaction is?Why should he worry about feeding into them or not,, because nothing stops them, they are bullies. He shouldn't give them a second thought, I agree with his choice to make this video. He made this one for his fans, to clear his name for himself,and for fans that were asking questions and really wanted to know.

I am a recent subscriber. Coz I like your style man. You talk well: you seem able to make even the most mundane things...watchable. I wish I could do what you do. I would love to be living a "nomadic" life. I am getting kinda long in the tooth at almost 63, though.
The reason I started watching this kind of stuff is that I would LOVE to do this when I retire - become a "grey nomad" as we call them here in Aus. To travel around my beautiful country and just live that dream. Maybe it will happen, maybe not. Meanwhile I can learn stuff from you and others who ARE living it, right now. So goodonya cobber. I swear they would troll their own mothers. I love Eric ' s new attidude. He is right. I hope Matt can keep up with the banning...I have decided not to interact with trolls I don't ' know' ...thus starving them for the attention they crave. Johnson" - He did some sort of "our of context" mash up video of your comments over the last year and edited (poorly at that) to make it appear to be a factual history of you, and this goofy gossip rag magazine type video is his basis of the multitude of accusations and innuendo.
I actually found myself laughing at his ingenuity to edit your words to fit into his ajenda....so at least the troll types and the very weird and strange people can give me a chuckle - so Eric at least they are worth some comedy? I have never seen another channel that puts you down. If I ever come across a video that does I will surely not subscribe to that person. There's enough negativity in the world that I don't need to subscribe to more. I watch because I'm interested in how the nomadic lifestyle works. I have seen videos from someone that will park their van in an affluent neighborhood and sleep there and get annoyed when a cop shows up to tell them to leave then post a video about how cops do nothing but harass people. You never do that. You are a positive soul and I applaud you. Then there are the people who watch you just to make negative comments about you and your audience. Keep it up man! I love the personal angle to your channel. I love how it can be inconsistent and emotional sometimes, because its a personal channel. I think that's why the trolls target you. They see someone being genuine to their emotions and their present state of mind and they love poking holes in it. The internet has a raging hard on for level consistent cited arguments but life isn't like that. Life is a big fat emotional mess sometimes and that's what makes it interesting. I've been following you for some time and this is my first post. I have found your videos to be very helpful and informative. I will be following your path soon. Am going to break loose from corporate America, the house, pool and all the possessions. My decision to do so was inspired by you.
Am shopping for the perfect RV now. I have an idea of what I want. Planning on a travel Trailer as I have the perfect tow vehicle already. I've already purchased a 1kw solar set up for my RV. Just wish I had done it when I was younger. Unfortunately, I was brain washed by society.
We are all taught from day one to go to college, get an education, buy a big house and fill it with things. My children are grown, kicked the cheating wife to the curb and I'm free to go.
It's very disturbing to me that there are so many trolls and haters out there that have made it their mission to attack you. I know these types, they are evil jealous people that aren't happy. Since they aren't happy, they want everyone else to be just as miserable as them. I've seen it over and over. Then there are the crazies that will just make stuff to try and make others suffer.
I think you are taking the correct stance and just letting it go. As long as you try to defend yourself against the crazies & trolls, they will never let up. They are like rabid dogs.
