Uncle Si Finds NEW Panther Proof on Phil's Land | Duck Call Room #51

Поділитися
Вставка
  • Опубліковано 14 лип 2021
  • Si is convinced that Jay Stone’s trail cam picked up a panther on Phil’s land. Stone reveals the coolest thing he's ever captured on a trail cam and talks about the freakishly large "devil deer" he shot. John-David gives the boys a spelling pop quiz after Louisiana's own Zaila Avant-garde wins the National Spelling Bee. The city with the most authentic Cajun food is NOT New Orleans. Martin is the subject of the weirdest question ever asked on this podcast. Stone has advice for a man who recently got engaged. And when it comes to friends, how close is TOO close?

    Boys, that is a mountain lion. I don't know why it's there but that's what it is. Sometimes they come down from the mountains here in Vegas. Its way to big for a bobcat. Also looks nothing like a bobcat.

      Thank you. Some saying jag. I suggest the take a family trip to a zoo with different types of big cats even tho a mountain lion isn’t considered big cat because it can’t roar. Puma, mountain lion, cougar are one in the same depending on the location what it’s called.

    • @myworldofsports1376
      @myworldofsports1376 3 роки тому +2

      Again SY Mexican jags look like or similar to other jags or leopards. The two are panthers with different colors and patterns compared to a black or white in color panther. Color combos is how you tell the difference. Puma, mountain lion, cougar only difference is location you find them and the name they’re given in that particular location. Mountain lions according to the smart people are not big cats because they can’t roar but I be darn if they aren’t a big cat to me.

    Wild cat, mountain lion, Jaguar, panther, etc. whatever you want to call it depending on location. I studied a tad of conservations genetics when I got my degree. They spoke of the Louisiana panther being crossbred with the Florida panther to try to preserve the species b/c they’re endangered. So, I guess Si could have seen a panther.

    • @84chevyguy1
      @84chevyguy1 3 роки тому +1

      Apparently you didn’t study very hard, or you would know that Jaguars are a totally different species lol. Also the cats brought in to Florida were from Texas and it was to reduce the inbreeding amongst the native population

    • @shellbell2167

      Apparently you should learn some manners. And if you know anything about how “lay” people identify things they will group Jaguars together depending on respective locale. And I said, “tad”, not expert.

    I believe you Si~ I saw one up close~ about 10 ft from me coming toward me while I was driving in the bottom~ it was NOT a bobcat nor was it a Mexican jaguar ( did NOT have spots) ~ it was BIG and had a grey muzzle~ It looked at a bobcat and it was NOT anywhere as big as what I saw!! I didn't take a photo but I didn't feel like I should anyway ~ was too quick anyway~ you can mock and laugh all you want but until you see one ~ you won't believe.

    The Bobcats in WV look exactly like a lynx just smaller but that most certainly is NOT a Bobcat! It’s damn mountain lion!!

    Uncle Si! Please don't kill that beautiful feline! I'm a cat lover of any kind! They're so beautiful animals. She may have babies she's taking care of too. Love you Uncle Si. I cried when I found out you were married when I was watching you on Duck Dynasty. 💗💗💗

    It really didn't look like a bobcat to me but the second pic convinced me it was. The perception is thrown off some since the pics are both zoomed in.

      Truth is always stranger then fiction! My papa did nothing but live off the woods. He died 7 days before his 100th birthday. Yes I'm an old woman now but he taught us everything that happens in woods. Lol I am also a retired nurse and first responder! Biology was my collage courses. It's how I started out. It's a shame folks don't think we are educated. Lol I got lot's of land and trail cam pics. We don't usually share them cause we don't want everybody an there dog running through here.

    If that’s a bobcat that’s the world record
