The "Robin" is now the MVP, and rightfully the Batman of the NBA champions. What a performance by Giannis: 50pts, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks.

@@chitownbear7733 That's not what he said. How can you just change what somebody says like that and run with it?
The bucks really believed in Giannis. They took him from greece and gave him the opportunity to "save" his family for poverty.
And Giannis really had respect for the team that basically changed his life. Him not moving away and him winning this year giving literally ALL he has got, putting shaq numbers (or even better since he is a force in the defensive end as well) and winning them the first ring in 50 years with a 50pt bomb. When i started watching the nba giannis was 1 week from winning his 1st mvp. Difference is that Giannis has worked hard at improving his skills and it's finally paid off while ben has worked hard at staying the same player and it shows
@@Clips_36 Ben and working hard dont coexist. People thought his talent could takeover his lack of mental makeup. This guy gave up on his LSU team because they were losing against tough teams. This guy, although he was never going to go school for a second semester, still showed no care in the classroom. LSU gave him the easiest classes and the school's best tutors, and he still had a 1.7 gpa. This is the same guy who tries to hide his Australian accent.
Giannis would typically spend over 12 hours in the gym, hitting shots, getting treatment, weightlifting, cardio, watching film. I'd be surprised if Ben is in the gym for more than 4 hours most time.
As a Sixers fan, I AGREE with you. That laid back LA mentality isn't going to work-- it's about overcoming the MENTAL aspects and being ready IN A REAL game especially the PLAYOFFS. Ben could have played like Giannis, but LACKS the MENTAL and AGGRESSIVE approach that Giannis has. Giannis is not a good jump shooter or consistent free throw shooter, but he STILL stays aggressive. He doesn't assume defeat or the outcome. Giannis does it and LIVES with the results. Otherwise, the Sixers could be in the same spot the Bucks are now. They are now the OLD Bucks from the past few years.

He is thoroughly vindicated now. They can no longer push that narrative. I also greatly dislike it when the media are derisive of other small or relatively small market cities and metropolitan areas, for examples cities like Cleveland, Buffalo, and Kansas City. But there are many players who also possess such a negative attitude, and I believe that the media and wider society influence them in such a way.
The world giannis grew up in the last thing he’d worry about is the media

Especially steven "xenophobic" a. He talks like he wasn't part of the non believers. What he did is legendary. No help, no superstars, constant critisism, no acknowledgement of his game, his strenghts, only negativity and what he is lacking, being called an overrated mvp and a fake superstar. Giving gobert the DPOY is insulting. I ve never seen a 2.11m player being able to stop guards, and being able to protect the rim also and giving 100% effort. Also anticipating sometimes the pass leading to a steal. Gobert is maybe..maybe!.. a little better rim protector but in no way can defend the dribble or anticipate the passing lane. The best all around defender ever along with effort. His performance was beyond reason. He made 2 or 3 fadeaway jumpers and made 17 ft, which supposedly are his weakness.
