nobody does it better than SCOTT ! smooth bebop with so much drive and swing . so many people think Scott is influenced by Getz . I do not think he was influenced by anyone . Scott has his own style . And i do love Getz . but Scott is my very favorite sax player . so many neat licks that fit the MELODY . hellow MELODY . No shuckin and jiven with meaningless 64th notes .
I agree. However, to me Scott is like wine. It takes a more mature listener to truly appreciate what lies beneath the notes: Melody! A younger listener might find falser, or funkier players better...they will grow eventually to see that Scott is a Master that is worthy of regard and most definitely of study.

Superbe solo de Scott Hamilton! Je pense que les mesures 3 à 5 ne correspondent pas exactement à ce qu'il joue, du moins le rythme, les notes sont bonnes par contre..
Correct. le ré de la mesure 4 devrait être placé just avant beat three. Well spotted Richard! :-) Thanks
