Looks like Australia, pretty sure undertaking is illegal there. So the car wasn't allowed to do that. Though the biker also failed to check his mirrors as well as staying in the most left lane unless overtaking....

He is a rider from my country, has his UA-cam channel and it was some rock in the middle of the highway and after hitting it he realized the front was feeling off which happened to be a puncture.

7:38 I was in the same situation just the other day. Car in the next lane slightly ahead of me had her signal on to move over into my lane. Except like an adult, I slightly rolled off of the throttle and gave her plenty of room to move over. She waved thanks and we both went on with our lives. I didn't accelerate and try to "own the lane."

I have no idea why people in the US get so angry with lane splitting. It makes no difference for car drivers.

Because drivers here are way to egotistical. They carry the "if im not first, I'm last" mentality. They also don't see other drivers/riders. They see vehicles. They don't see the people in them till they have to deal with the consequences. Even more unfortunate is the fact that to many of them get away with it, and never face those consequences.
Because it is illegal in 49 states.
Egos are a very fragile thing my friend, the very fact that we can squeeze through traffic upsets them as they have to wait in line and they would not be first.

1:08 The guy in the Pilot seems to be fleeing the scene of the accident. Even if his insurance company posits that he did not make contact with the other vehicles involved and is thus not responsible for the ancillary collision, , he should have stopped. Hope his plate number was legible for the other parties to the accident.
It did not seem to me he was fleeing. But it did seem that his original intention was the take out the bike, you can tell by the way he looked at the rider as he went by.
@@spartanx169xI don't think the Pilot driver ever saw the bike, much less saw the Pickup- which he would have sideswiped, had the pickup driver not made an emergency swerve to avoid a collision. If the driver of the pickup was looking at the biker as he passed by after the crash, it was probably to implore him to follow the Pilot driver. The pickup driver did not swerve into the filtering biker's path until AFTER the Pilot driver veered into his lane. The takeaway lesson here: when another vehicle is at fault, make an honest, reasonable attempt to avoid a collision with that vehicle, to negate the possibility of contributory negligence. But don't overreact, or be a hero, you can be punished for it. Try not to create another accident, or run yourself down an embankment, etc. in the process of avoiding a deer, inattentive driver, etc. How many times have you seen a video of a truck which jackknifes/overturns/proceeds into oncoming traffic in a heroic attemp to avoid a car that cuts them off, when they should have simply applied reasonable braking, and let the offending car get what's coming?

I think a lot of bikers Legit have a big sense of entitlement.
When bikes aren’t they common compared to cars and are a lot smaller. Most people even when trying to to account for them still miss them sadly. But instead of understanding that and driving more carefully in general, they instead get pissed tf off and think everyone is trying to ignore/kill them

Is Lane filtering legal in that state / USA or is it just considered "look the other way" by the police? In my country it is technically Illegal but if you do it slow and safe the police will look the other way.

So I'm looking at 10:22 (the video with the dirt bikes and side by sides). The rider approaches a blind hill-crest on the trail with no idea what's on the other side of it. As he crests the hill, there's one ranger vehicle off to the right immediately as he comes over the hill. This vehicle looks to me like it is completely off the right edge of the trail, not blocking any portion of it whatsoever. On the left, there is a length of fence, and further up the trail is another ranger vehicle which is parked in the left portion of the trail by the fence, but not near the hill-crest, where anybody coming towards it from either direction would have more than enough notice of it and not be "surprised" by it's presence, unless they are coming over the hill too fast and out of control. My thoughts are that it probably would have been a good idea to place some caution signage on the other side of the hill approaching the crest, so that riders would know someone's working on the other side, because it looks like it's pretty tempting to want to speed up approaching the hill-crest to catch some air. But there's also a lot of onus on the riders too. Flying over a blind hill without knowing what's on the other side is never a good idea. Even if there were no rangers working there, there's any number of scenarios that could have been going on on the other side of that hill, like a downed rider, someone approaching from the other direction, or wildlife just standing around or crossing the trail. You can't just put all of the responsibility on the rest of the universe to "not be there" when you want to come screaming over a hill or around a bend. That's like playing russian roulette and getting mad at the bullet for being in the chamber when you blindly pulled the trigger.

This is why I can’t ride anymore since I got fucking rear ending in the dead of traffic. Fucking parking lot on the HWY and still got fucking rear ended hard. I went through the asses windshield. Fucked my back up.
But I made a promise to my wife if I got into an accident on my bike I would stop riding. She’s in talks on letting me get a bike again lol it’s been 3 years.
Statistics show, you only have a 7% chance of getting wrecked by a car. It sucks for you. But thats just the stats. Most riders wreck due to speed, and alcohol. I ride, But I will not ride on a busy highway or in a city at all. Its too risky. Backroads and small towns, is all I do. highway and city riding is boring too. I don't know why Riders do it.
