Leaving this comment here so that in the months/years to come, when someone likes it, I can be reminded of this mix. Please remind me if time has gone by.
I’m not an 80’s-90’s kid, but I grew up with all the rock music thanks to my dad. This mix is both nostalgic and relaxing, which melts my brain in unique ways.
All apologies brought tears to my eyes. Took me back to listening to the original version as a kid, and now sitting in my own house as an adult, reminiscing about the hard road traveled and the peace it’s brought me to. I appreciate this moment.
90s/00s kid here, absolutely loving this. I'm 30 now, definitely feel wiser and more mature, but I never really "grew up", ya know? I still feel like I'm 18, and this mix just added even more years to my life. God bless 🤍🔥
I'll be 32 next month, we're part of a generation that got to see the last of the "home by the time the streetlights come on" and the beginning of the human collective having access to all of human knowledge at our fingertips.
@@MarkARoutt I am truly thankful I was a teen in the 90s and got to be part of the last generation of kids who experienced stuff like that. Life without constant technology was so different, and I miss the culture of that. Very nostalgic.
the 90s are an era of music that is so rich, you could spend a lifetime exploring all the genres, there is nothing like 90s music and i love with my whole heart how you young people cover the music, you make it your own and at the same time leave the integrity of the original intact. ❤❤❤
Indeed! I was a teen in the 90's, and now age 37 in 2023 Im looking back and seeing more and more how the music defined an era in a really iconoclastic way.
Lo-fi take on “where is my mind” was a real nice surprise🔥 Edit: Having listened through the whole playlist, there are alot of nice surprises. Most excellent work!
I'm a huge Foo Fighters fan so that Everlong cover damn near brought me to tears. And then having No Surprises follow that like...🤯 The way y'all did the vocalization with that heavy guitar drive was just perfect. You are all amazing and thank you so much for giving us this
Yesterday at 3 AM, I found this channel and this music, I couldn't sleep, I kept listening to every song I knew: Fell on black days, Wonderwall, Down in a hole, Champagne supernova, Everlong, Black hole sun, My hero... . and many more. I have never paid attention to Lo-Fi music, but yesterday I ended up looking for "Lo-Fi Grunge". I'm impressed, I felt like listening to my favorite songs again, and as a big fan of 90's music (specifically Soundgarden and Oasis) I can only say one thing. Bravo and thanks
This music makes me feel like I've just realized that I'm not getting any younger and getting closer and closer to death every year. Memories flashing through my mind...

Born in the 90s, but have a brother that was a teen in the 90s. It's a beautiful way of listening to these memories. I miss those times, with my brother....
Gods the memories that flood back. It's like a soundtrack of my youth that plays a movie in the mind. Some absolutely magical memories others play out like a horror film that remind me how much healing I've done while gently reminding me of the character development I have left to do. The mixture of emotions make me appreciate where I am in life today and even more thankful that I wasn't one of the ones of my generation who checked out early. So thank you for this beautiful masterpiece that evokes so many emotions.
I've been searching for lifi playlists that arent just noise to get me sleepy but study instead, regular lofi gives me the z's. But this keeps you up with all the nostalgia hitting back.
Takes me back to those days as a teen living in a garage converted bedroom drinking power coffee all night writing progz in Visual Basic and waking up with bloodshot eyes trying to stay awake in 5th period history. Great times man. The best.
'90s kid, too. This all reminds me of times before cellphones and high-speed internet and friends I haven't seen in years and the random adventures we had when we should have been in school.
Are there any lyrics throughout the playlist? I want to play it in my middle school classroom, but worry about the occasional word that might not go over well.

I never thought of alot of these song as 'grunge' but I still am loving this playlist. Also ive accidentally been listening at 1.25x speed lol I recomend it
Most of these tracks are definitely not grunge at all, despite the Nirvana stuff and Soundgarden and the Bush and Pumpkins tracks are slightly grunge. The rest is completely not at all. Like I said in general comments, great mix, great feel, awesome nostalgia, but please fix the title. Under a quarter of this mix is 90s grunge. The Pixies, No Doubt, The Cranberries, Weezer, Portishead ... all completely not grunge.
Thanks for putting this together. I'm an OG Seattle Sound head. It's nice to hear different variations of the greats. Fell on Black Days is such a banger.
