I love Oud! I don't understand the negativity. I have Dejan, Mana, and Octavian and love them all. You can keep chypres and fougeres... give me a funky, beautiful oud any day. Thanks for the list

I'm really loving Rose de Pushkar from Ella K now that it's winter here in the UK. This has rose, oud and it's a bit spicy. It's just so nice. I also have Lettre de Pushkar from the same house and that is also really nice to wear right now. It has rose but no oud.
Pulled Arabesque from the Mystery Box last night and gave it a shot. I really liked it. I think the jasmine helped it stand out a little bit from some other rose/oud combos, plus it has that Ormonde Jayne DNA that just screams class and elegance. Regarding my favorite rose/ouds, I love Oud Satin Mood Extrait (even though it's not very oud-y). I also love Onyx Extreme from Aaron Terence Hughes... that stuff is phenomenal. It's has some of the best natural oud on the market and is so lovely. (He does great stuff when he's not trying to appeal to all the young club kids 😂)
In addition to the perfumes you showed in the video, I would include Bestium from Carner Barcelona. I think it is one of the best blended rose+oud perfumes out there. And the saffron in that makes it really special on my skin.
Sebastian, you might want to consider Andrea Mack’s Pavilion (available at ZGO) and Simone Andreoli’s Rose of Dangerous Flamenco (available at Ministry of Scent). Both are quite lovely.
Nawab of Oudh Intensivo from Ormonde Jayne is by far my favorite. Rose Anonyme Atelier Cologne, rose woody oud from 2012. is another one. Also, New York 5th Avenue from Fragrance du Bois, although there’s no oud but I get that impression, maybe from cypriol or guaiac wood.
I always find if funny how Jazeel - Ghala is described as "animalic". As I don't notice anything that would remind me of anything barnyard or musky. More on the incense, maybe medicinal side to me. It's a great scent, however not everyone will appreciate it because it is pure Arabian Oud+Rose. One of my favorites! Nice with Sebastian, I like when there are more low key scents featured.
I tried Black Aoud but all I got was soapy rose. No patchouli, no oud. It was quite long lasting as expected from Montale but kinda disappointed with the perfume profile of Black Aoud.
I'd like to get your thoughts on "America One 31" by Krigler. I know it does not fall into the "rose + oud" fragrance category, but I'd still like your thoughts on it. I read that it was Ernest Hemingway's signature scent. That alone piqued my interest.
I fell hard for scent of wood’s Oud In acacia. I thought it smelled the same to Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose and Oud. But I’m not sure anymore 😅but now I want to buy it.
I love the combo but it's getting a little boring as you said with oud, I prefer a little more creative fragrances with oud like Oud Maracujá. I was going to buy Octavian but there was Vanilla Edesia getting in the way and it won! So Octavian will have to wait, no hurry I have too many Rose Oud combos! My primary oud rose is Rouge Prive, because the oud in it accentuates the leather, not the woods; and the hint of the habit rouge base is perfect.
My favorite of all time is Roja Dove Amber Aoud. So much richer smelling than MFK OSM. Musk Aoud is also quite good, but more animalic.

Arabesque is very good. Its has the Ormande DNA with bestrode longitivtiy.
