The things she has said we're way too harsh, as we see in the anime she literally BLAMES HIM for getting fucking KIDNAPPED by the Lov. or as in her words: "You're so weak that you got kidnapped and caused everyone else all sorts of trouble", with this he also blames himself for all might not being able to continue being a hero, even though it wasn't his fault he got kidnapped. He's a Scapegoat to Mitsuki, if you don't know what that is, go look it up. Abusive Mitsuki isn't an Au, it's real.

Midoriya grew his qualities based on his mothers love while Katsuki based his on the lack thereof. Two sides of the same coin if you might. So what Im saying is, if Mitsuki had treated Bakugo like anything else, he woouldve been a lot softer and more understanding. He wouldve probably taken Midoriyas hand back when he fell therefore, making them like each other. Im not sure if I got my point throguh properly but yeah
