I now use Real Effects air dry paints, they have been specially designed for reborning. You can purchase them from my website Still Moments Nursery. That being said, you can and I have used a home oven to bake genesis paints, just make sure you have plenty of ventilation. Hope this helps ;)

Well, considering that the dollmaker has to buy a kit (arms, legs, head, plugs), a body, poly fill, glass beads, paints, matte finish, paint thinner, paint brushes, paint mixing tray, cosmetic wedges, sea sponges for mottling, zipties, clippers to cut the zipties, mohair, a special oven to bake the head and limbs between paint layers, glass eyes, and some little outfits and goodies to send the baby home with (and other things that I can't remember right now) pretty expensive. The initial investment will be over $300. Subsequent dolls will cost less to make - the cost of a kit, some outfits, glass eyes, and a body - which can run about $160. Then there are the hours put into the doll -estimate 40 hours. So yeah, it costs a lot in both time and resources.
+Ally D A lot of money...It all depends, which doll kit is used, and what colour eyes, hair, weight, etc....in fact, as they are custom made, and you will never see an identical baby doll...They are well worth the price x
