😩😩😩😩 There's so much to unpack when it comes to Felix, so please forgive my unhinged response. I'm not above admitting to my errors, and I knew I made a mistake when I chose Dimitri over Felix, but it's not my fault since what the IS devs wanted, and they did Felix dirty when they put an eye patch on Dimitri and made him out angst our prickly pear. They even gave Dimitri Felix's dad! Which in hindsight just makes Felix more appealing to me, what the heck. I realize now I have been in 100% denial all these years, and more blind than Dimitri with two eye-patches, because I have been wracked with guilt for not following through with what I know should have been my first choice. The fan-art made think that Byleth and Felix were going to hold cats together, and talk about there deep dreams under the stars, but when I got into the game and rushed over to introduce myself he told me to 'get rekt.' Is that anyway to speak to your professor? Probably, but I was to proud to accept it. As I continued all he ever wanted to do was fight me, or sharpen his sword. Not even my sword! Doesn't he know that's not how you get an A+ on your assignments? However now that time has passed I have come to learn that is just his own love language, and was the only obsessed with fighting so he and his friends didn't experience anymore loss than he had already had. Felix has two hands, one for his sword, and the other for his other sword. And just like the cat he is named after he is he only wants you to pet him with your eyes, ...or maybe your sword, because it would be a shame to miss a training opportunity. But by god, that session better end with the two of them rolling around in the dirt of the arena, swept away in the heat of battle. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and that's why my Byleth sits here with only a +0 Brave Felix, and one with a silly Santa hat. Anyways, I fully admit that I missed out on S-support perfection, and I ask for forgiveness from the biggest Felix fan I have had the pleasure of following. If he ever gets a legendary version I promise to +10. fr fr ☺☺☺☺
Regarding Brave Robin’s outfit, it’s not actually a part of Awakening. While I am a bit disappointed that IS got lazy with her outfit and just gave her the same clothes as her male counterpart, my main concern was that she not be Grima wearing Robin’s corpse like a suit again, so I am fine like this. She wears the outfit very well (I honestly think it looks better on her than it does on Male Robin), and it’s Wada art, too, so she looks fantastic. She also plays quite differently from Brave Male Robin; while both have support aspects, Male Robin is more focused on combat, while Female Robin is more heavily focused on support. And I’m just really glad that Female Robin’s finally gotten a normal pool alt; it’s still crazy to think about that this is the first time she’s had an alt that’s gone into the normal pool. Congrats on your summons! They way I gasped when you spoke the Yukimura summon into existence. The Fallen Gustav summon was also quite something. All being stuck at the +9 means is that you can guarantee the last copy in December on the Legendary banner. I got my Robin to +3, which is one over my minimum goal for this banner, so I’m content to wait for more merges, myself.

That's pretty dirty of IS, if it's a brand new look they conjured out of thin air they at least could have changed a few things up for F!Robin, even if it's just the colours they chose! Now that I think about it I feel like Alfonse is in the same boat. I would have love to see a couple of small changes here and there to the Gustav's armor so it wasn't exactly the same. Just so Robin/Alfonse can claim the look as their own. I'm happy to see that you were able to reach your minimum Brave Robin goal, and I hope she continues to come home for you soon if you choose to revisit the banner!! Absolutely insane luck 😮 so happy you got +9! I was really cheering for that +10 but rosado decided to show up instead :p My luck was pretty decent. I got every character in 2 sparks with 2 Alfonse, +5 Bernie, 1 robin and 1 Felix. Bernie is so much fun for me. I never used a vantage type unit before so she’s become by second favorite unit. I hope you get your +10 if you decide to dip back in or maybe later when he comes back on another banner :p

Felix can definitely be abrasive, but he still ended up one of my favorites. If you wanna give him another shot, I'd recommend checking out his supports with Annette and Ashe! Annette really gets his guard down, and Ashe has a great read on him. You dodged the others and got another Alfonse, let's goooooo!!! My first Three Houses playthrough was just the Blue Lions too, then I was GONNA do Golden Deer second... But when I got to the part where you pick your class I couldn't bring myself NOT to pick the Blue Lions again, I just love them all so much! I started just recruiting everyone from every class, but I never finished the playthrough, I ended up getting burned out trying to get as many supports as I could ^~^" "I can feel it, this one's Alfonse, right?" The mode itself is fun though, it's cool getting to use characters I normally wouldn't invest into, and even if I don't buy the units, it's still kinda fun trying to keep an eye out for ones I WOULD want I usually set either my Cynthia or my Brave Dimitri as my lead, Cynthia cause I think she's a really good f2p merge project, and Dimitri cause Laguz Friend pushed him further into relevancy so I know people actually look for that. Beyond that I probably don't have much you'd want, unless a dancer Inigo with the arcane tome sounds good lmao The way the excitement bled into your voice as you were talking and Alfonse popped up XD Recent HoF units have definitely been a step up from how they used to be! Y'know, with the like... Gen 1-2 seasonals... Seer's Snare is SO fun, definitely one of my favorite side modes, up there with Pawns of Loki and Heroes Journey (Which I take my time with for the exact same reason, lol) Diamant would be cool to see win, I'm planning on throwing Sharena my support if she does well in the interim but my early votes will probably be pretty split, I wanna throw at least ONE vote at Boucheron since I really liked him and he got skipped over when FEH did the Firene banner The only Hoyoverse game I played was Genshin, I got Childe but stopped after maybe a month or two-ish? I'd probably only jump back into those games if I knew I'd actively be playing with friends. Besides FEH the only gacha I've put time into recently is Granblue Fantasy, though that was more to learn about the characters since I picked up Relink (which is a lot of fun!) and Versus: Rising Eir! You mentioned wanting more of her when you got Ymir, so glad you got another of her! Spooky games are a lot of fun! Recently I picked up "The Quarry", which is by the same people who made Until Dawn, I'm hoping to stream it around Halloween or something. Phasmo is fun, and while it's maybe not a "spooky game" in atmosphere, Lethal Company can get pretty intense, especially when mods are involved Alfonse once again saves us from the bubble, and just before the spark too! And a first copy of Rosado! Not a bad end to an otherwise amazing session, wow! Super happy for you JBee! For my own CYL results... I started with about 840 orbs and ended with the last spark leaving me at about 85 My Alfonse only made it to +4, with my first non-spark copy not showing up until pull #54, my second at #94, and my last one at #153 I also got Felix to +2, with one copy at #113 and another at #119 (both circles had no green) Miscellaneous five stars were Brave Tiki at #21, first copy of Annette at #23 (very happy she's my favorite Blue Lions girl), Brave Micaiah at #34, Letizia at #60, Pent at #64, Brave Ephraim at #118, and first copy of Rosado at #132 I also got 2 more merges for my Inigo, bringing him from +6 to +8! All in all, CYL was pretty rough for me this year, but seeing Alfonse come home for you was amazing to see, congrats again!! And uh, sorry for the text wall!

I just didn't want to get hurt, but looking at his S-Supoorts makes me realize he is better than Claude!! 🤣If I were to play 3H again, I would choose him! AND two BL runs??? That's some dedication! I get burned out in the middle of my BE run after playing through BL, GD and AW. I wish there was a way to skip the academy phase so I can try the rest. OMG Laeradr is quickly checking the boxes for one of my new favorites. A villein with a sad backstory is just my jam and I'm going to have a hard time fighting the brain worms on this character. lol I'm also really enjoying the Nidavellir story! I was surprised with the ending of the latest TT. Nidavellir turning out to be a little crafty, and going as far as becoming the bad guy to perverse peace for his country was an awesome turn of events imo! I can't wait to see Etri in this timeline! OOOOoooooOOOO I had being playing GBF since 2020, I only just recently stopped playing after burning out on the last U&F. The quotas just keep getting higher! But I'll still come back for the story events! I love so many of the characters in the game!! I haven't played Relink, but I hope you enjoy it! ☺☺ YES, I have seen playthroughs of The Quarry, it was a lot of fun! But I don't think any of their games has come close to recreating the experience of Until Dawn. I don't think I have been able to sit through all of the Dark Pictures Anthology. Man of Medan was probably the most memorable for me. Thank you for wishing me Grimas! Granblue is fun, but yeah I hear ya, it seems like waaaaay more investment to get stronger compared to FEH, I'm trying to approach it very casually but when I skip stuff it feels like a big waste... 😅 The story's a lot of fun though! I'm so curious who your favorite characters are now! Albert was my first SSR so he has a special place for me, Sandalphon is just SO cool, the comedy side story made Juri one of my favorites, and I really liked Raziel in the Phoenix story! Beyond that Lancelot's also a favorite since I played as him in Rising and Relink! (And uh, if you need a copy of Relink, I'd be happy to pass one along! Yeah, I stopped once I hit the last spark, but I'm at 3.75%, so maybe at the end of the banner I might go back in and try to snipe one more Alfonse, depends on what Legendary and Emblem get added between now and then I guess! Plus I always leave the Easy and Hard story/paralogue chapters and the Chain Challenges alone in case I need to farm emergency orbs, so I have a bunch on backlog. And yeah, honestly I'm really happy with the Inigo merges, he refuses to come home so the two I got were a big help! And completely unrelated, was driving home today and heard "back to back" on the radio, and I instinctively thought "Back to back to back to back?!", so yup. You've corrupted my vocabulary. 😆

@@jbeepizzacakes5742 Caaaaiiiiiin, funny story about him, when I first started Granblue I bought all three of the starter "100 draws" packs cause I wanted to spark for Lancelot, and I thought EVERY character was available for sparks cause I looked at the wrong page 😅So without knowing any of the characters available at that time I picked up Grand Cain cause he looked the coolest. I still use him on my Earth team, too attached to let him go! I really wanted his Holiday version, but I was still only like a month or two in so I didn't have enough crystals 🥲 All of them are really cool too! As a former theater kid I love that Grimnir is a theater kid. Eustace is definitely my favorite Society member, I wish he made it into Relink with Zeta and Vas! Maybe someday! And yeah, very thankful the story content is easy enough to experience at any level! The grid will fill out... In time... Siero's Academy has been coming in clutch there 😅
For Alfonse he has 2 superboons; attack and res. He does want to be a defense boon due to his skills rolling off of his defense stat, but for max bst a +atk +res is the goal

I know you said +def +atk floret but he has the superboon in res and a def boon is non-negotiable, so +def and +res is optimal imo. He's so fun regardless of what you pick though p.s: i ALSO GOT PITY BROKEN BY GUSTAV LOL

congrats on the +9 Alfonse!! Pretty funny moment when u spoke Yukimara into existence. I know it's a small thing but I just didn't like that Alfonse had the exact same poses in all his artwork as Gustav. I don't mind him having the same outfit but the same poses is too much.
CYL banners have screwed me over literally every year. Everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. Going to 5.00%, getting few 5*s, the ones that I get being off-focus, when I finally pull a focus it's -atk, etc. I even pulled a 5* Tailtiu on my first CYL banner lmao. I was going all in for Alfonse this year and I got him to +3, but that was 1 freebie, 1 spark, 1 guarantee due to the focus charge, and only 1 summoned normally. All this, yet I still pull on CYL every year 😂 that being said, I will absolutely be pulling on the CYL rerun banner when it returns.

I've never bought a Binding World unit, but I've been VERY tempted to. I'm mostly f2p, just grabbing FEH Pass if a character I really like gets a resplendent or if I need to spark a non-standard banner. The mode itself is fun though, it's cool getting to use characters I normally wouldn't invest into, and even if I don't buy the units, it's still kinda fun trying to keep an eye out for ones I WOULD want
I usually set either my Cynthia or my Brave Dimitri as my lead, Cynthia cause I think she's a really good f2p merge project, and Dimitri cause Laguz Friend pushed him further into relevancy so I know people actually look for that. Beyond that I probably don't have much you'd want, unless a dancer Inigo with the arcane tome sounds good lmao
The way the excitement bled into your voice as you were talking and Alfonse popped up XD
Recent HoF units have definitely been a step up from how they used to be! Y'know, with the like... Gen 1-2 seasonals...
Seer's Snare is SO fun, definitely one of my favorite side modes, up there with Pawns of Loki and Heroes Journey (Which I take my time with for the exact same reason, lol)
Diamant would be cool to see win, I'm planning on throwing Sharena my support if she does well in the interim but my early votes will probably be pretty split, I wanna throw at least ONE vote at Boucheron since I really liked him and he got skipped over when FEH did the Firene banner
The only Hoyoverse game I played was Genshin, I got Childe but stopped after maybe a month or two-ish? I'd probably only jump back into those games if I knew I'd actively be playing with friends. Besides FEH the only gacha I've put time into recently is Granblue Fantasy, though that was more to learn about the characters since I picked up Relink (which is a lot of fun!) and Versus: Rising

Spooky games are a lot of fun! Recently I picked up "The Quarry", which is by the same people who made Until Dawn, I'm hoping to stream it around Halloween or something. Phasmo is fun, and while it's maybe not a "spooky game" in atmosphere, Lethal Company can get pretty intense, especially when mods are involved
Alfonse once again saves us from the bubble, and just before the spark too!
And a first copy of Rosado! Not a bad end to an otherwise amazing session, wow! Super happy for you JBee!
For my own CYL results... I started with about 840 orbs and ended with the last spark leaving me at about 85
My Alfonse only made it to +4, with my first non-spark copy not showing up until pull #54, my second at #94, and my last one at #153
I also got Felix to +2, with one copy at #113 and another at #119 (both circles had no green)
Miscellaneous five stars were Brave Tiki at #21, first copy of Annette at #23 (very happy she's my favorite Blue Lions girl), Brave Micaiah at #34, Letizia at #60, Pent at #64, Brave Ephraim at #118, and first copy of Rosado at #132
I also got 2 more merges for my Inigo, bringing him from +6 to +8! All in all, CYL was pretty rough for me this year, but seeing Alfonse come home for you was amazing to see, congrats again!! And uh, sorry for the text wall!

I'm a stubborn woman, but I fully know/admit that I missed out on Felix. I just didn't want to get hurt, but looking at his S-Supoorts makes me realize he is better than Claude!! 🤣If I were to play 3H again, I would choose him! AND two BL runs??? That's some dedication! I get burned out in the middle of my BE run after playing through BL, GD and AW. I wish there was a way to skip the academy phase so I can try the rest.
OMG Laeradr is quickly checking the boxes for one of my new favorites. A villein with a sad backstory is just my jam and I'm going to have a hard time fighting the brain worms on this character. lol
I'm also really enjoying the Nidavellir story! I was surprised with the ending of the latest TT. Nidavellir turning out to be a little crafty, and going as far as becoming the bad guy to perverse peace for his country was an awesome turn of events imo! I can't wait to see Etri in this timeline!
OOOOoooooOOOO I had being playing GBF since 2020, I only just recently stopped playing after burning out on the last U&F. The quotas just keep getting higher! But I'll still come back for the story events! I love so many of the characters in the game!! I haven't played Relink, but I hope you enjoy it! ☺☺ YES, I have seen playthroughs of The Quarry, it was a lot of fun! But I don't think any of their games has come close to recreating the experience of Until Dawn. I don't think I have been able to sit through all of the Dark Pictures Anthology. Man of Medan was probably the most memorable for me.

Granblue is fun, but yeah I hear ya, it seems like waaaaay more investment to get stronger compared to FEH, I'm trying to approach it very casually but when I skip stuff it feels like a big waste... 😅 The story's a lot of fun though! I'm so curious who your favorite characters are now! Albert was my first SSR so he has a special place for me, Sandalphon is just SO cool, the comedy side story made Juri one of my favorites, and I really liked Raziel in the Phoenix story! Beyond that Lancelot's also a favorite since I played as him in Rising and Relink! (And uh, if you need a copy of Relink, I'd be happy to pass one along! If it's more an "I don't have time to play it" deal I totally get that though, but yeah! Offer's on the table!)

Yeah, I stopped once I hit the last spark, but I'm at 3.75%, so maybe at the end of the banner I might go back in and try to snipe one more Alfonse, depends on what Legendary and Emblem get added between now and then I guess! Plus I always leave the Easy and Hard story/paralogue chapters and the Chain Challenges alone in case I need to farm emergency orbs, so I have a bunch on backlog. And yeah, honestly I'm really happy with the Inigo merges, he refuses to come home so the two I got were a big help!
And completely unrelated, was driving home today and heard "back to back" on the radio, and I instinctively thought "Back to back to back to back?!", so yup. You've corrupted my vocabulary. 😆

The game has some really great stories! It's just filling out your grid takes sooo much time! But luckily, you can do the stories without having too much trouble!
@@jbeepizzacakes5742 Caaaaiiiiiin, funny story about him, when I first started Granblue I bought all three of the starter "100 draws" packs cause I wanted to spark for Lancelot, and I thought EVERY character was available for sparks cause I looked at the wrong page 😅So without knowing any of the characters available at that time I picked up Grand Cain cause he looked the coolest. I still use him on my Earth team, too attached to let him go! I really wanted his Holiday version, but I was still only like a month or two in so I didn't have enough crystals 🥲
All of them are really cool too! As a former theater kid I love that Grimnir is a theater kid. Eustace is definitely my favorite Society member, I wish he made it into Relink with Zeta and Vas! Maybe someday! And yeah, very thankful the story content is easy enough to experience at any level! The grid will fill out... In time... Siero's Academy has been coming in clutch there 😅
For Alfonse he has 2 superboons; attack and res. He does want to be a defense boon due to his skills rolling off of his defense stat, but for max bst a +atk +res is the goal

congrats that was some insane luck haha. I recorded my alfonse summons and got him to +5, love that guy. I know you said +def +atk floret but he has the superboon in res and a def boon is non-negotiable, so +def and +res is optimal imo. He's so fun regardless of what you pick though

congrats on the +9 Alfonse!! Pretty funny moment when u spoke Yukimara into existence. I know it's a small thing but I just didn't like that Alfonse had the exact same poses in all his artwork as Gustav. I don't mind him having the same outfit but the same poses is too much.

CYL banners have screwed me over literally every year. Everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. Going to 5.00%, getting few 5*s, the ones that I get being off-focus, when I finally pull a focus it's -atk, etc. I even pulled a 5* Tailtiu on my first CYL banner lmao. I was going all in for Alfonse this year and I got him to +3, but that was 1 freebie, 1 spark, 1 guarantee due to the focus charge, and only 1 summoned normally. All this, yet I still pull on CYL every year 😂
