I think it shows the growing distance between the people.
in the context of the video, it also shows very nicely how we are not only moving away from nature but also from ourselves. :)

The robot dog is called "spot" and is created by the Boston MIT. I think it represents the fact that people believe that technology will help to save the environment and that we could use it do undo the damage that we´ve done. So instead of going back to nature we try to cure it with even more artificiality. I liked your comments on the video and you gave me some good new ideas in interpreting this piece of art. by Deichkind. 👍🙂

My first thought was with the bavarian on the water, that this is at lake constance near Lindau, the only part of the lake, that is part of bavaria. There, stand up paddling is actually very popular.

@@scharsigo I mean, that's what I was thinking, but Deichkind come from the north of Germany, they probably wouldnt know those things. It may very well be, that my stand up paddling idea at the lake constance was just coincidental.
I interpret the Jodler as a reversed-uno comment on cultural appropriation. Black Bavarians are extraordinary rare. And black Bavarians in the conservative uniform performing a trendy hipster sport while jodling. It resonated with me in seconds in this way. Geiler Scheiß.

The overall lyrics of the music not "negative" in a sense that it's "anti-nature", it's more like it's mocking people who can not fathom the hardships of nature which we are living in every day but have surrounded ourselves with the comfort of concrete making up our walls and tar guiding our way. "This branch here is hanging quite too deep, where the heck's the handle here, man? This is all bodged." To me, the Lyrics are attempting to bring us back to the sensation of nature: Nature is harsh, nature is truth, nature brings us back to the basics and confronts us with ourselves (building character, dealing with hardships etc.). - '"In nature, neck supports will hurt."
