I'm exited for the BSL system entering model color. As someone who struggles selecting paints having a guide is appreciated. What would you say is the difference between new game color and new model color. Do the paints behave similar?

Hola, tengo una duda que quizá es algo que no aplica a las minis ya que tus videos van genial para figuras impresas en 3d que son mas grandes. La duda es que no he encontrado un video en la que hables de un barnizado posterior, no sé si es porque no aplica a las minis o porque no tiene ninguna historia el tema y simplemente es darle un spray o aplicar barniz con pincel.

Comentas en un momento del video que mas tarde vas a fundir los colores, base, sombras y luces... y no lo veo por ningún lado.... y para mi es la clave del resultado.
Just wanted to let you know that the new Model Color has some really cool characteristics that will be explained in an upcoming video. Also, just a heads up that while the two formulations are different, they are still compatible with each other.
You can also think of L as "light" to an extent. If you look on their website, they have a color chart PDF that shows how the colors are in suggested BSL sets. Each basically has one shade lighter and one shade darker, even if the tone shifts a little. To that end it's not the most complete color line, but it's easy to create in-between colors and augment them with mediums -- if you have the correct colors, you can even blend them right on the model if you get well practiced (with feathering or glazing). I'm getting back into the hobby after a while, and I'm not the most advanced, but these seem to strike a good mix strike a good mix right back baby of useful matching colors out of the gate, while encouraging you to push your limits a bit.

Y yo le añadi un poquito de agua porque tengo mania jajajaj. La puedes usar directamente del bote con el pincel humedecido :)

Hola Fernando, yo nunca barnizo, por eso nunca lo ves en los videos.
Si quieres barnizar, lo ideal es hacerlo con el aerografo :)

Tengo las antiguas game color. Hay mucha diferencia?
La antigua Game Color hay muchisimas diferencias pero si te refieres a la antigua Model Color, pues se nota las mejores en bastantes colores

Hola, pues depende mucho de lo que quieras conseguir, puedes sombrear con morado, violetas, o ir hacia los verdes/grises :)

Model Color and Game Color are compatible, and there are no issues with using these two ranges. :)
