just picked up a Jr50 and bam first thing on youtube is a restoration video, information was very valuable 👍🏻👍🏻
I just restored one took me about an hour really wasnt to bad changed gearbox oil air filter was cashed like yours theres a plug in the side of the case you add oil until it runs out the hole or measure
I have a 1993 Suzuki jr50 and my dad likes to ride it around lol
It’s a lot easier to rest on the swing arm once that wheel is off lmao , great video though 🤙🏽
Premix oil tank you took off goes into motor oil correct ? Pull oil drain bolt and it drains the motor and the tank both ?
No, that went to the carb and mixed with the fuel.
@@MechannibalGarage65I got a older jr50… most the time the oiler stops working but you really didn’t have to remove it just mix oil into the gas tank normally
Question i own A jr 50 and the carb has a port with a line on the bottom and a port on the top with a line can you tell me wich port is for oil and witch one is for gas i am missing the oil tank and dont have plans to buy a new one and i would like to know how to block off the oil port on the carb?
I got one that’s been parked for 5 years but I’m going to fix it for my nephew
Definitely do, it was fun to ride even as an adult.
where do you find parts to order?
RockyMountainATV had most of them, the rest came from a local Suzuki dealer
Hey Mechannibal Garage, what is the brand/size of that rear tire is on that thing? Great video man... I'm in the middle of building one now. Kind regards
I think it's 2.5x10 rim size and then 60/100x10 tire. I have no idea on the brand though, I think they were cheap no name ones off ebay.
Im rebuilding a similar model. Do you have a site you recommend for parts?
These guys www.babbittsonline.com/
Where did u get all your Yamaha pw80 parts from and front and rear sprocket?
What PW 80 are you talking about ???
Where did you source your parts, and are they genuine or ? Cheers. Nice vid
@@MechannibalGarage65 Cool. I just picked up a '93 here in Osaka. It's in very original condition and will head to a dealer for the OEM parts. Again, thanks for the vid's!
