Digitizing Codex 2907 and the Text of the New Testament

Dan Wallace shares a story about how CSNTM serendipitously learned about a manuscript that biblical scholars did not know existed and were able to digitize it. Now dubbed Codex 2907, this 10th century Gospels manuscript in a private collection in England, has had an influence on our understanding of the text of the New Testament.

Thanks Dr. Dan Wallace for posting this info. Fascinating. I teach Apologetics Classes at the church I attend and utilize an Email Ministry associated with that. I have used a few of your CSNTM videos in the class and the students are fascinated and engage in lively discussions. You have become an important resource for them. Many of them are Millennials and Gen Xers, the future of the church. I was also looking for the link to that MSS you described. May Jesus Christ continue to be strong in your life and ministry.

Why do many of the apologetic channels like this one disable comments in many of their videos?

My guess is that some people post nasty comments or maybe even spam and the channel owner doesn’t have time to moderate them. Tbf, it’s not like yt comments are the library of Alexandria. They are mostly unimportant.

I don’t understand the comment that “raise the dead” is not in the KJV when it reads Matthew 10:8 KJV
[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

I checked bible hub and 2 other versions dont have "raise the dead" but the rest do ...perhaps he mispoke. Unless its not in the TR but was included in italics or in Brackets or something in the KJV?

Raise the Dead... they certainly are with older manuscripts and the heart of scholars! They are doing an amazing job.
