You shouldn't mist your plants

This is still a common misconception so don’t feel bad if you love misting your plants, but the bottom line is…
It doesn’t help them!
It only raises humidity for a few minutes, not enough time to even affect the plant. And water droplets from you misting can sit on leaves and be an avenue to introduce different bacterial and fungal diseases to a plant. Bleck! 😷
So feel free to take off misting off of your to-do list! 💛

Interesting point but technically hard to get there. I have to learn the lesson (but I won’t) to not buy plants that need humidity.

What should I do if I need to clean the dust off my leaves?

I like to rinse them in the shower with room temp water or I get a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the leaves 😊
