- This is the song The Bitch of the Living from Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele's last performance of Spring Awakening on May 18th at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. Moritz is played by Blake Bashoff in this performance since John Gallagher already left the production by this time. Spring Awakening is a rock musical set in Germany in the late 19th century, It is all about exploration of sexuality and the growth of those feelings. WARNING: Themes are very mature!!
Disclaimer: I do not own Spring Awakening or any of the songs. Those lyrics belong to Steven Sater and the music belongs to Duncan Shiek. Spring Awakening plot also belongs to Frank Wedekind who wrote the original play. All rights belong to them

is it just me or is Blake's moritz just so much angrier at everything than John's? Nothing wrong with it, although I do prefer the kind of goofy moritz to angry moritz, but to each their own
Super late comment, but maybe he’s doing his expressing extra passion because he knows it’s Jonathon and Lea’s last show?
I prefer John Gallagher, but Blake Bashoff is actually pretty good.
He's pretty funny actually, even in don't do sadness. Really found a way to make the character his own.
Carlie Mae I actually prefer Blake
gerard is the best one though
I usually have a preference with these things but Blake, John and Gerard are all so good in the role
Thank you for this! I love the OGs of course but hearing Matt and the Blakes is awesome too - especially alongside Jonathan, Skylar, and Brian!
those dynamic camera angles
Is that Matt Doyle??
Gideon?
no one like john gallagher jr =( the show wasn't the same without him
Who's Ernst in this?
W here's Johnny b wright??
I'm very late to the spring awakening game but why are the people on the side of the stage ? are they ensemble?
haha better late than never! Its a mix of audience members, cast and ensemble. It's supposed to give the allusion that the society is always 'watching/pressuring' the kids while explore their sexuality.
Genica ahhhhh okay thank you !
i love John Gallagher *-* He is the best
@Cullengirl231 ya it really isnt! :/
