The hydraulic system is a trolley floor car jack which I disassembled the hydraulic cylinder and used in my structure.

And yes, the pedal to shift down are connected to the screw to release the pressure.

Una cosa che non riesco a capire: come può bastare un martinetto da 2T con un braccio così corto per sollevare la struttura? Avevi fatto i calcoli in precedenza o realizzato in modo empirico? Grazie

per quanto riguarda il martinetto è per l' appunto da 2 tonnellate ovvero 20 quintali, quindi perfettamente in grado di sollevare qualsiasi moto più la struttura del ponte senza nessuna difficoltà ;)

Good concept but some of those welds make me very nervous about putting my motorbike on it.
Hi Wacko, I have lift four adult man in the test phase for a total weight of 340 kg, but I think the structure can lift a lot more .. I'm not afraid when I lift my motorcycle on it, the welds are ok..
what would you say was the overall cost of the build ? I live in Chicago so if you don't mind estimated American dollar amount. I have a similar idea but it seems to me that I would spend almost $200.00 on just the hydraulic jack . For that price I can purchase a cheapie and upgrade it on my own. What are your thoughts?

The materials used are steel and mild steel for the upper plane.
Workmen V... Paso uses in mechanical terms a overdrivin first class lever. The hydraulic jack of course applies and significantly multiplies the effort.

Hi Kenneth, yes, the safety mechanism is kept blocked by the weight of the motorcycle it self and by the weight of the lifting table.

Thanks I really appreciate that, I'm 73 years old and my pension is only $200 a month, lucky for me I have my own house and living in the Philippines is a great help financially, there are no bike jacks here, there are only a few imported second hand big bikes so I have to make everything I need, lucky also I have a nice workshop, I'm really looking forward to my build.

How much did it cost to make?
If it's a motorcycle lift, where is the tire vice up front and how much does it lift. We can't even see if it works with weight on it. It also looked it might tip over when the m/c was up front.

Looks like you use paddock stands, center stand, head stand, etc. with it to me. Plenty of room. What’s with the skepticism anyway? The man didn’t say he was selling it… just showing off what he built. If he built it for a motorcycle then it’s a motorcycle stand. Simple as that!

Hi Raficul, you can see the pressure release mechanism at 2:06 minute, it is shown with the hand then used with the foot as for normal working use
